Mel’s Loop Single Track Dispersed Dite

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Free and drive-in accessible, Mel's Loop Single Track Dispersed Site sits on BLM land outside Cisco, reached by a 3-4 mile dirt road off I-70. The road has some high points that can catch low-clearance vehicles, so four-wheel drive is a practical advantage. Expect some freeway noise and wind. Cell service is available, campfires and pets are allowed, and both reviewers arrived to find no other campers present. Nearby options include Kokopelli Trail BLM Dispersed near Westwater Creek if you want to compare sites before committing.

Good

Right off I-70. I was the only one here. Little noise from the freeway. Windy

Unexpectedly great!

A very doable 3-4 mile drive off the 70. There are a few high spots on the road, so be careful not to bottom out if you don’t have 4-wheel drive.

We were the only ones there.
