Part of the Bureau of Land Management's Pinedale Field Office holdings, Warren Bridge Recreation Area Designated Dispersed Camping provides twelve numbered sites along the Green River near Daniel, Wyoming. These free, first-come-first-served sites sit directly on the riverbank, accessed via a gravel BLM road that dead-ends at sites 12a and 12b.
Each designated site includes a vault toilet, picnic table, and fire ring, with most offering direct water access for launching drift boats, rafts, and kayaks. Greg L. notes the sites "have their own vault toilet, tables, fire rings and grass boat launch areas for the drift boat, raft and kayak crowd." The road conditions vary by site—while the main gravel route stays well-maintained, some individual site access roads prove narrow and rough for larger RVs or trailers.
Wildlife viewing happens directly from campsites, with visitors reporting mule deer, moose, antelope, and both bald and golden eagles in the area. Fishing draws many campers to the Green River access. Cell service remains unavailable at the sites themselves, though coverage returns on the main BLM road above the river level. Sites fill quickly during peak summer weekends, particularly around holidays.
For additional camping options in the region, campers can explore Upper Green River Access upstream or check Warren Bridge Campground and Picnic Area for developed sites with hookups.
