Dirt roads and gravel pullouts define this dispersed camping stretch along Forest Road 650 in Bridger National Forest. Getting here requires driving 28 miles on Highway 352 from US 191, then an additional 17 miles on unpaved road, staying right of the river. Some pullouts accommodate RVs up to 28 feet. No services are available, so campers need to arrive self-sufficient. This is grizzly bear country, and keeping a clean camp is essential. Hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing are the main draws. Campers preferring developed facilities can continue to the end of the road, where Green River Lakes Campground has vault toilets, tables, and fire rings for a fee.

remote wilderness camping

Drive about 7 miles W of pinedale on US 191, turn right onto hwy 352 and drive 28 miles to Forest boundary where pavement ends. Continue on Forest Road 650, staying right of river, an additional 17 miles on dirt to campground. 

Free camping in Bridger Teton National Forest along the road. Gravel roads and pullouts, some good for RV's to 28'. No services, come prepared. Hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing. 

🐻 Grizzly bear country. Keep your camp clean.
