No tent camping allowed

RV camping only apparently, was told I'd have to pack up my tent by local police. Nice place otherwise though and a free first night is enjoyable

Surprising and Welcoming

Part of the city park, next to the ballfields, a series of ten or so widely spaced shelters, each with a picnic table, and electricity and water for two campers at each shelter. Flat, grassy ground, well maintained and trash-free, all next to a small pond. Clean restrooms and trash receptacles on site. Welcoming sign: free the first night, $15 per night afterwards. Off the beaten path and a very pleasant surprise. Great sunset and watching the birds on the pond.
