Very nice park well maintained we enjoyed our stay here. Restrooms weren’t very clean bit other than that great place to stay
First 6 days without electricity because of the snow storm, water pressure is low but available. Very pleased with campsite, host Billy very helpful. Overall enjoyed our 2 weeks there.
Unbelievable experience right from the start we were welcomed like we were family. The staff at Shirley creek marina are awesomely amazing people who helped us multiple times on our stay. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Shirley Creek Mariner. It’s very easy to find excellent access to hookups for your RV or Travel trailer. Beautiful views quiet tranquil surroundings and an overwhelming sense of community. We will be going back as many times as we can. You have to go visit it’s not something you wanna miss. Thank you Shirley Creek Marina.
This camp ground is very well kept. All of the host and hostess are very friendly. This peaceful piece of tranquility is perfect for not only families and large groups but also for couples. Pet friendly!!! We have been here once a month for the last 5 months just to get away. The boat ramp and pier are very nice also. There are so many different areas to choose from at this camp ground. We have tried several different spots and area each time. Everyone just as perfect as the last. This is our go-to camp ground.
At least 14 sites with picnic tables on concrete slabs. Fire rings and Lantern poles. Very well kept and mowed. There is a loafing barn for horses. No bathrooms or water. Would be a 5 with just water. You need a Texas parks Limited use permit. It costs as little as $12 a year. If you want to fish or hunt the price goes up a little. Can be used to stay at any National Forest or Wild Management area.
A wonderful small campsite that is very peaceful! It’s a great campsite that isn’t very crowded. Sites are spacious and friendly workers.
Very basic with full 50 amp service and Direct TV. Bathrooms very clean and air conditioned. Level gravel lots and quiet. Plenty of space between sites.
We enjoyed our night in the quiet lake view campsite at Sandy Creek. The park was not very busy during our stay. It seemed that even if the park would have been full our site still would have felt quite secluded. Observed a few people that seemed to be doing bird watching.
