Awesome Natural View

The view was amazing. We went tent camping and were recommended spots 10 and 11 for the best experience. However, these spots turned out to be not the best for tents. The roads also need a lot of maintenance as they were very rough.

A Peaceful and Scenic Stay at Cypress Bend State Recreation Area

We really enjoyed our time at Cypress Bend State Recreation Area and were impressed by how calm and well cared for everything felt. The location right along Toledo Bend Lake made mornings and evenings especially relaxing, with beautiful water views all around. Our RV site was spacious and quiet, with easy access to hookups, and the whole area felt safe and uncrowded. The updated beach and fishing pier were definite highlights, and it was nice to see clean facilities throughout the park. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to slow down and enjoy nature without the crowds.

Relaxing Getaway with Great Atmosphere and Coffee Vibes

I had a great experience at this campground!🌲✨ The facilities were clean, the staff was super friendly, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind with a cup of 7 Brew coffee by the fire in the morning. I’d definitely come back again— highly recommend for anyone who loves nature, comfort, and good vibes!

Peaceful Lakeside Getaway with Great Amenities 🌲🎣

We had a fantastic stay at Cypress Bend State Recreation Area! The park is beautifully maintained and set on the edge of Toledo Bend Lake, offering some truly scenic views, especially at sunset. We stayed at one of the RV sites—super convenient with full hookups(water, sewer, and electric), and the grounds were quiet and peaceful. The waterfront cabins also looked very cozy and well-equipped—definitely planning to try one next time. Highlights for us were the renovated beach area, clean restrooms, and the lighted fishing pier, which made evening fishing a treat. There's also a playground and volleyball court, which is great if you're bringing kids. The$2 entrance fee is more than reasonable, and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially with late arrival check-in info. Great lake

The view was great. We were tent camping and were told spot 11 and 10 would be the best for tent camping. This was not the best spots the roads also need a lot of attention they were very rough.

Great views
