Sweet Spot near the Cimarron River

Well kept city owned RV park. Level concrete pads and covered picnic table. The RR trestle you see is the Samson of the Cimarron!

Great Little Lake and Campground

We live about 45 minutes from Wolf Creek but yet have never been until this past weekend. The staff was super friendly and even let us switch sites after the original one we reserved wasn't really tent friendly. I did find the rv sites a bit confusing in regards to size and layout and their map…

Nice, clean park and friendly staff

Nice, no frills, rv park with friendly staff. Great place for a stop over. We stayed 2 nights after a 500 mile driving day. Gravel sites with grass surrounding the park. Approximately 30 or so full hookup spaces. Community room with restrooms, showers and laundry.

Nice overnight state park even if you’re not driving the dunes

Stayed for one night and I only can say good things about this place. Small Rv campground with 6 spots. The sand dunes are right there and nice to go for a small hike if you don’t want to ORV with your 4 wheeler. Self pay 20$ and good for the night. Water and electricity but no dumping station. …

Quiet

They have a great nature walking trail that is well mowed. Good for young kids. Go here to get away. There is no cell service unless. You drive up to the top of the dam. We camp behind the dam. It is quiet and has good patches of grass on most sites for tents. The showers and bathrooms are well…

Nice Oasis

Stopped at this nice out of the way campground en route to Minneapolis. Nice sites and price (only $5 for tent). Squeaky is really doing a good job keeping things clean and maintained!

A small oasis

You wouldn’t believe it when you’re approaching it, since it seems near a road and behind the train tracks, and it seems to be near a refinery. But this 16-site, city-run park and campground is the kind of place I had been hoping to run across on my long drive. It has shady spots in an area where…

RVs only!!

Dunefield has lots of interesting plants. The main attraction is exploring them by dune buggy or 4 wheeler, which you can rent on-site.

**Yay: simple campground with hot showers. Note that there are two areas to camp, one for RVs and one for tents, separated. This is the RV ONLY campground…

Surprise: Oklahoma has sand dunes. You can rent a buggy, go hiking along them, or go fishing in a small stocked pond.
