Good Camping

There are level, shady sites with picnic tables. Clean bathrooms/showers. They are renovating so office is closed and no market but there's one across the street! I'm gonna guess the renovations will be great!

Quiet little gem

If you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle this is a place you don’t want to miss. It’s quiet, very natural and rustic but with so many thoughtful touches. The community kitchen was my favorite part. Cooking is so easy when there’s everything you need available.

Nice small park, a few sites have full hookup

This is a great little park right in the town of Blanco. Sitting right on the river it gives you the feel of being in the country. Nice for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is one loop that has FHU’s

Some campsites are awesome

Our first night was at a site very near the neighboring sites. It wasn’t very private or peaceful. The next morning we asked to move. Around the corner, I think the sites were 25-29, they were better spaced very wooded. We could hear folks down the hill being loud all night since it was kind of…

Drama staff, drugs, rude management

There's a reason this Jellystone is not as popular as all the others. I was hired knowing that I have a disability and have a service K9. She does not have to be with me at all times but I was advised that in order to get the job she would have to stay home. This of course is against ADA…

Big City convenience

Lake veronic is far enough out of San Antonio to avoid the big city traffic. However it's close enough to access all the conveniences that San Antonio has to offer. My husband enjoys their stock pond for catch and release fishing. I prefer their pool and hot tub as a relaxing break. There's…

Country setting but close to town

We have stayed here many times. The park is separated into two sections by a busy road. The office and the River section of the park is on one side. The other side has a lot of great hiking/biking trails. They only have 10 50Amp sites, in Sycamore loop. All other sites are 30Amp. Most RV sites have…

I suppose it would have been better if you get a decent campsite. Backing in the RV, door opened into a spiky bush. Turned the RV around and couldn’t level. The covered table was so far away in another campsites “backyard”. No Wifi or satellite for miles. Couldn’t use the phone for…

Hill Country Haven

Another Texas State park that shines! Sites are big and even though pretty close to the other sites still feels very secluded! Picnic table with shelter and Fire Pit with grilling included. Restroom and Showers close enough to every campsite! Firewood and Ice sold on site just pay attention to…

Relaxing and Convenient Adult Stay

This location is a great find especially in the Texas heat! This use to be a KOA but now an adult resort I really like the changes they are making including some spots will have grill with patio seating. Most spots they have are fully shaded with trees and the area is kept immaculate for the next…

Okay but not great - especially since it’s been the highest priced campground we’ve stayed in.

We were graciously greeted by a neighbor who shared a few local favorites for biking , water access & historic gems. Shouldn’t the office make that available? We never saw or heard from a staff member for the three nights we stayed. We did speak with office staff to make the reservation who…
