Beautiful & Hot

This campground is absolutely beautiful, and was excruciatingly hot. Given I was there one of the warmest days of the year. But no breeze, little shade.

The views are amazing and it's easy to get checked in. My dog loved hiking early hours when the sun just peeked up. Tons of views and…

Beautiful canyon

My family stayed in the Caprock Canyon state park Honey Flats loop. Stunning views of the canyon are within a short walk from the campground. The paved pad at our site was level, and there was also a sheltered picnic table at the site. All sites were very spacious and felt private. A herd of bison…

Beautiful Place

Stayed for the night and had a wonderful sleep in a tent. Grass is soft and the people are kind.

Beautiful Spot

Camped in spot #59. Went back in January and had a great time. The views are breath taking. Just hanging around around the campsite is amazing. No light pollution at night so stars are abundant. The camp sites have shade shelters with tables. Fire ring and grill at each but be aware of the common…

Very clean park

We were passing through and we needed a place for the night. We tried Twin Pine based on some reviews. It is exactly as advertised.

We found a well laid out rv park with plenty of room to maneuver in and out. Located right along US-84 it was very easy to access. This did lead to a bit of road…

Cost doesn’t match to what you get.

Stayed here for our first time. The site we were out was extremely uneven. Missing chunks of pavement. If you’re going to charge $40/night make sure to maintain the sites to those standards not $10/nught standardsz

Nice clean park with a very cheerful lady on the phone.

We just stopped for a night while heading south across Texas. Very easy access off the interstate. It is your typical RV park with full hookups. Sites are close together in the traditional manner.

Check in was a snap as all out paperwork was in an envelope taped to the office door. The price is…

Free hook ups

One would think with free 30 & 50 amp and water hook up it should be a five star. Problem is your so close to the road theirs a lot of traffic noise. Not only that, the building in the park which host the sites is also used as a activity center which is busy during the day. Theirs trash…

Great local getaway!

Very much improved camping facilities since we were there last. The lake is very low but if you just want a solitude getaway...this is a great place. At the Marina, Cody is the best to deal with! She really was helpful!

Beautiful lake, good travel stop

We like to stop and stay at this campground when traveling to/from colorado. It has a really pretty lake good for fishing and walking. We've been lucky it's never been crowded but word has it that this is a party spot on holiday weekends. It's also very expensive for what we're used to, at $30…

Quiet & Beautiful near Caprock Canyon

This damned lake (Army Corps of Engineers) recreation area offers some very inexpensive camping and OHV trail access. When the water is full during the summer, the lake is good for motoring, fishing, and other water sports. We visited during the draw down which offered a lot more beach area, but…

A Spectacular Park with Surprising Scenery and Wildlife.

Created by the Red River, Caprock Canyon State Park, lies about 125 miles to the southeast of Palo Duro Canyon. While many similarities exist between the two state parks, the differences are striking. For starters, this park features the remaining heard of Southern Plains Bison (related to the…

Quiet, beautiful RV site right off the highway

Stopped here just for the night. They provide a means to check in and camp during afterhours using cash or credit card. When we arrived it was dark but the property looked well-maintained and every resident was respecting the quiet-time hours. Our pad was nice and level and all the hookups worked…
