Lone Star Lakes RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Lone Star Lakes RV Park in New Caney, Texas, and given the site's layout challenges, calling ahead is worth the effort. The park accommodates rigs up to 70 feet and provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer, along with a dump station, showers, WiFi, and drinking water. Access through the internal driveways can be tight for larger setups, and one reviewer noted that pull-through spots are available but maneuvering out in the morning required some effort with a long RV and trailer attached.

The grounds sit on a heavily treed tract just off US-59/IH-69, and the tree canopy does measurable work keeping freeway noise down. Cleanliness is a consistent point of pride here. Reviewers describe the grounds as well-maintained, with one noting the staff are "fanatics for cleanliness." The four-acre private lake is stocked for fishing at no extra charge, and ducks are a regular presence around the water. A game room with pool, air hockey, and board games rounds out the on-site activity options.

The park is open year-round and pets are allowed. Rates have been described as slightly higher than comparable parks in the region, though WiFi is reliable and the staff consistently draws positive mentions for responsiveness. Campers exploring campsites near New Caney will find a few alternatives in the area, including Forest Retreat RV Park nearby. Larger rigs should confirm pull-through availability and ask about the exit route before booking.

Wooded, Quiet, and in the middle of Nature

We stayed for 2 weeks to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The staff was awesome, and the campground was perfect for us. Enjoyed watching all of the ducks, and walking around the pond. The central game room, Pool, Air hockey, and board games. The campground is also festive with home-style holiday decorations.

Just the way a RV Park should be

Starting with good rates and courteous staff, this park has hundreds of large tree that are so welcome in the Houston weather.

They have everything you could need, so far as amenities (even free to top off those weary tires)

They are fanatics for cleanliness; I dare you to find even a cigarette butt on the grounds.

Just a couple of blocks off US59/IH69, but a heavy treed tract of land that keeps freeway noise to a minimum.

And one of my favorites:  Free fishing in their 4 acre private lake.

Not for big rigs

I called in late and was very surprised and delighted for someone to answer. I provided details that I had a long RV plus a trailer and will need a pull through spot with full hookup. She said it will be no problem getting in but may need help getting out in the morning. The driveways and turns are not exactly big-rig friendly as some other campsites. No problem with hookups or staff. And yes had to do quite a non-fun manouver to get out of there, so will most likely not be back. My only other comment is when we were pulling the slides in and jacks up I got a phone call from the office lady telling me she’s sees I’m getting ready to leave and wants to make sure I come pay. I had every intention to pay on my drive out, but this seemed like an odd idea to her to stop on the way out. Prices were a bit high for the area, wifi good.
