  Beautiful setting

  The sites are nice and wooded.  There is plenty of space between sites to give each camp a little privacy.  We were a drive up, no reservation camper.  They only took cash or check on-site.  Camp host was very nice and helpful.

  Campsites are spacious with gravel campsites and paved rv parking at campsites. Water and electric at each site. Clean bathrooms with showers.

  Management made stay terrible

  We should have heeded warnings in other reviews and avoided this place. Managers are lazy and rude, do not respond to messages calls or texts. Moved our booked spot without speaking to us and told us it was an upgrade, it was not in a spot we desired due to having a toddler near the busiest part of the park. They had someone else parked in our spot so we had no choice. We had to figure this all out ourselves because when we got there no one was around and they simply left a map at the door with a different site number on it. The WiFi password was never sent and management did not email it until the next morning. The bathrooms were newly renovated but no shower curtains and were dirty. The pool was closed both days and locked, no notice given to campers. Email said pool was to be open. There are nice common areas that look very inviting, but whenever you go near them, a camera loudly broadcast that you were being recorded, and this continues all around the building with multiple cameras it just makes you feel very strange and unwelcome … When we finally reached a manager she was rude and told us that it seems we simply aren’t happy and that we could vacate immediately with a refund. We declined, as it was 8pm and we had a toddler asleep and a fully set up camp. This was truly the worst experience and expensive for the type of park that it is. Anywhere else this would maybe be a $40 at night stay however it was $90 a night here. From the photos, we thought this park was out in a quiet part of the country, but it is not and is on the edge of a city with a lot of traffic and an intersection with a Walgreens for a view..

  Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

  Small but Nice!

  Easy to find, well marked. It’s has many (12) trails and many falls. Would definitely recommend shopping before camping, it’s several miles, and mountains, to get to stores. There are several lodging options…cottages, The Lodge, (which is beautiful) tent and RV camping. There are 2 small campgrounds ~ 1) Ridgeline which accommodates RVs up to 26”, water and 10/30/50 amp hook ups. Sites have a fire ring and picnic table. WiFi is available, and there is a dump station. A small playground, office/campstore, and a bathhouse and laundry next to it. 3 sites are walk-in. Big rigs would have to stay elsewhere. 2) Clifty Campground is tent camping only 7 sites offer electric and water. WiFi is also offered. There is a bathhouse and a playground, and these CG’s are pet friendly. (Falls Creek is a few miles up the road…they have pull through and back ins. For bigger Rvs. They also have tents, wagons, cabin rentals, and primitive sites) We had no T-Mobile service, or satellite service in our vehicle. The trails and Cumberland falls were awesome. The horse rides looked amazing, and the Pool was big, with a diving board, and a small fee for campers to use it.

  Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort and Campground Pioneer, TN

  RV Heaven for ATV/OHV/SxS Camping!

  Approximately 4 miles off of exit 144, from I~75. Easy to locate, and a well maintained RV campground! Website has all the info on the different types of sites, cabins and ATV’s. Resources for permits, pricing, and other requirements are also listed. The trails are accessible from the CG. FHUs on Back in and Pull-throughs,bathhouses, on site fishing pond, playground, and Ohhh yes….the ATV wash station! General store is on the right from the entrance, which is awesome! They sell firewood and ice, as well as extreme OHV sporting equipment/gear, snacks, souvenirs….to list a few. Rental cabins are available nearby, for larger families or groups. I believe they thought of almost everything! I would love to come camp here in the fall, as I can imagine that the views are spectacular! They provide WiFi, but my T-Mobile reception was good, at 3 bars.

  Eagle Rock Resort & Campground

  Amazing Area

  Eagle Rock Resort & Campground is amazing. If you are looking for a place to ride trails and relax, this is the place. You could seriously come here multiple times a year and still not see all of the different trails. The site manager, Jeff, and his staff was extremely nice and helpful. Always there to please and help make your experience one to remember. I am not the camping type so the condos they have for rent was perfect for my group. Spacious and clean with everything you need. We even had very comfortable king size bunk beds, never seen anything like it before. Cannot say enough great things about this experience. Definitely worth a stay!!!

  Only 2 of the 6 sites are usable if it has rained within a week of your stay. Would not recommend for large groups unless you enjoy sleeping in mud. Would not recommend unless the weather is pristine.

  Patrick’s Point River Camp

  A great little getaway spot!

  We will absolutely be back! I’ll be honest, as a visibly queer person with rainbow hair I was a bit nervous about the Bible verses and Christian flag due to past experiences, but Patrick and Angelica were welcoming and friendly the entire time!

  The RV spot with shade was great! It’s right next to the bathroom but everyone is spread out enough it wasn’t an issue at all.

  Strong WiFi, pet friendly, and a beautiful, peaceful spot with very friendly owners!

  Blue Heron Campground — Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area

  Nice sites, some far from bathroom

  Sites are level and pretty spacious, if not some a little tight together. My only complaint was that the restroom wasn’t marked on the map that I could see so I ended up being very far away from it. So more of an issue with recreation.gov than the campground itself. The restroom was nice and clean.

  Great Campground

  Nice campground with spacious sites! Has gate at entrance so no worries about locking everything up. Great view of the Pigeon River and good places to catch smallmouth bass along the river. Sites are level and graveled with a concrete pad and table. 50 amp service full hookup. Just a short trip to Pigeon Forge and you can catch the backroads and avoid traffic into town. Really can't beat the campground for the price!

  Very typical KOA. We’ll kept, sites are gravel, level and not too close. Bathhouses are new and clean. WiFi is so so. Convinient to I81.

  Quiet and Friendly

  This is our 2nd time staying here for a quick overnight stay. I would definitely like to stay here longer! Even though it's very close to the interstate, it was very quiet. We had a full hook up site, relatively level. It had a picnic table and fire ring. Shower rooms, laundry room, and store, as well as snack shop! The camp hosts were very kind and friendly. Lots of walking around we area. We were in site B1 46 dollars a night.

  Beautiful and amazing

  Ben was an amazing host. If we needed anything he was able to help us. This place was by far the best place I went camping so far. Peaceful beautiful lots of shade. There are cows across the way that would get as close to the fence as possible and just stare at us as we drove by . I would recommend this place a million times it was absolutely beautiful. We camped here for a whole week. No issues no complaints. Thank you been

  Disappointed

  This is a scam do NOT book with them. Tried to go on a Cumberland River Boat Cruise. Directions given were in accurate, no address was given to use GPS. Google Link given inaccurate Directions. Called several times and even talked to the manager asking for help none was given. River Boat was Gone When we Finally Found the Boat Ramp. Drove to the Office to request a voucher or refund. Would NOT give either one. People were not helpful at all DO NOT waste your money. We lost$120 to them due to the businesses own fault. They did NOT offer options for people with disabilities, We even asked for a 1/2 of a refund and they would NOT even do that as they said we made lunch for you. How much can a sandwich and chips cost. If they were kind people and did what Jesus would do they would have gladly refunded even 1/2 of the money paid Do NOT support a company that doesn’t support people with disabilities nor are they Christian at all. What happened to having manners. If they would refund our money we would delete this entire post.

  Super CLEAN little campground right off the interstate. Great stop moving through. Arcade and recreation room was amazing for kids while I did laundry. Hot showers in air conditioner!!! I repeat!! Hot showers in air conditioner!! Great stop through, will save as return spot.

  Amazing Unique Experience

  For those who want peace and quiet, it doesn’t get much better than this! It’s secluded but clean, and lots of fireflies and a great view! My girls loved exploring and catching fireflies. They had to steer clear of the electrified fence that hold the cattle nearby, but that was all. The bathrooms were so clean and the showers were nice! So picturesque!

  Other reviewers will do this place more justice than I can. It’s already been said. I’ll just say that a 45 minute horse ride for $25 is an absolute steal. Seeing the falls is free. There is a small on-site store and a playground for the kids.

  Great Place to camp

  I was need of a place to camp to breakup a long drive and this certainly did the trick!

  The host gave me a call to see if I had any questions and to make sure I knew where I was going, very nice guy. Because I was the only guest that night he allowed me to choose which site I slept at but site 1, my original spot, was great! Tucked back in the woods, I would have felt quite secluded even if others were on the property. Fire pit, rock ring and picnic table were all nicely spread out and well maintained.

  The bathroom and showers were a short walk and were very clean, it was a great bonus feature that I dont typically need when camping…but who says no to a hot shower in the morning!?

  If I had 1 complaint, it would be the sound of traffic from the highway a few miles away. It certainly drowned out the sounds of nature but I had no issue ignoring for my short visit.

  I would certainly book again if Iam ever passing through.

  Beautiful campsite

  This is a beautiful campsite in Andersonville, TN, approximately 2:45 hrs from Asheville, NC. The lake is clear and clean. The campsites have water and power hook-ups. The staff in the store were super sweet and helpful. They even sell firewood and ice after hours on the honor system. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the bathrooms are not the best we’ve seen and only 1 shower in the bath house. The grounds are dog friendly and as long as they are on a leash, can splash around in the water. Our site had amazing views, but little shade. It also had perfect tree spacing to hang hammocks. *beware, there is tons of goose poop- no good if your pup is a turd burglar!

  Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

  A few great tent sites. Tons to do!

  This was my first time to the Niagara of the South. My husband and I left our dog back in Louisville for this trip which was originally an attempt to see the moon bow at Cumberland Falls. 

  We looked at the tent site map on the state resort park map and nothing looked GREAT except for Clifty Campground spots 050, 048, and 049 they all look isolated from any of the other sites with 050 being a site that you have to traverse a grassy/rocky area from your car to set up. 

  We opted for spot 047 because, on the map, it looked set back from the campground road… and it was… sorta. Nothing at this campsite is going to be private. The majority of the sites do not have so much as a weed between them although the sites themselves are very roomy for car camping. Your vehicle will be a presence at the site, which have electric hookups so if, like me, you have an electric car… it's nice to be able to simply plug the car in. This site did not get a lot of shade except for where we had the tent set up, and still… that would've received sun had it not been raining. 

  Our site had a good picnic bench, a sturdy wooden post for hanging trash etc and the fire pit seemed pretty new. The grill wasn't bent at all, which was a 1st in my years of camping. The view from this site was pretty cool… we set out tent up at the furthest out spot on the small cliff as we could before it turned to mostly rock and faced the door out over the trails. We hung our rain tarp because, instead of a moon bow, we endured a nearly 24 hour torrential downpour. The tarp, which is small, and having the tent faced appropriately gave us a semblance of privacy although we had a camper van family next to us. Site has a lot of gravel so it was reasonably muddy but not dried out quick. 

  There are a lot of raccoons that visit the dumpster area so expect it to be a little messy if your fellow campers aren't shutting the dumpster lids. Shower facilities reminded me of middle school camp… kind of mildewed… and well… rustic. Everything functioned and it wasn't "gross" just old. Water was hot. Toilet stalls (ladies) were small. I weight 130 and at 5 foot 2 it was a tight squeeze for me. 

  We hiked the WIldflower Loop Trail (1.5 miles) in a drizzle and although wet it was safe. When the rain stopped we hiked Eagle Falls Trail and it was very muddy but the views were worth it. 

  Would love to go back but if camping in a tent it's a must to get one of the two more private spots, or at the very least

  Peaceful & Beautiful

  Ashley here with The Dyrt. I loved working with Ben to get his listing going on The Dyrt. This gorgeous land is perfect for tent or trailer camping with level ground. Ben has done an amazing job preparing this property for your stay. The bathroom/showers are hotel quality, so no worries about roughing it! Stay up past your bedtime so you can watch the fireflies! Give them a try and leave them some love!

  Site that we stayed in was wide and long. We did not feel squeezed in. The park has been expanded or reworked recently. Campground is clean and well kept. The office staff is friendly and easy to work with. Outside staff are always on the go and do not slow down to talk.

  Easy to access this campground. You feel like you are in the countryside and you are right. There is a driving range for the individuals that need to get their golf fix in. There is room to walk around and you can see the stars in the night sky. Staff is very friendly. Nice place to stop for a over night rest or even a few days.

  Tight campsites - beautiful park

  Be aware, that the campsites are exactly the length as indicated. Not an inch more! Some people were able to fit their rigs in diagonally. The park itself is beautiful, the campground good enough to spend the night. Sites are very close together.
