    Great Way to Explore Nashville

Nashville North KOA is a well developed park with large level sites. It has conveinient access to I65 and Highway 31W.

They have 30/50amp full service hookups and Cabins.

One of the coolest deals is the local winery deals while staying there. They have a laundry center, store, new playground, pool, dog play area (Kamp K9), checkers, ladderball, and shuffleboard. Restrooms are available, ice and firewood for sale.

Cellular signals were good for AT&T and TMobile, we were able to work and stream.

Fun events and dinner/music festivals every weekend April-October! They have long-term rates for $600/month.

    Nashville I-24 Campground

    Great location, easy access!

This park is an older KOA that is now a private campground. There are many long term residents but also a lot of RVers stopping through. This is a true RV Park with full services, propane, a pool, nice dog walking area, and long pull throughs. The park is kept very clean and has great landscaping.

While normally we prefer to be in the country away from the cities, we were here for work and we were very impressed by the care they take for this park. The staff was all very helpful and spent a lot of time making sure campers have a great experience. We will definitely return!

Cellular signals were great for AT&T and TMobile.

There is a busy road outside of the park, but that also means great restaurants and quick drives to things we wanted to go do!

    Two Rivers Campground

Nice RV park for visiting Nashville

Helpful staff, gravel level sites with concrete pads that have picnic tables on them. Full hook ups. There is a private bus the staff will call that will come pick you up and take you to downtown and return for $10.00. I took the bus because parking is more expensive than the bus fee. I didn’t use the laundry or showers but they looked nice and clean. Great place to stay while visiting Nashville. They had live bands every night out by the pool area while we were here. Nice place for a private park. I would stay again. Camping world is right next door if you need anything. Back in and pull through sites.

    Easy Getaway from Nashville

At only 35-40 minutes away from downtown Nashville, it is a great weekend or even one night getaway. There are both primitive and RV hookup sites. The hosts that were there when I went were very friendly and helpful. It's not backcountry camping but it is a great campground. There are also a few nice trails that connect right to the back of the campground.

    Tight

For a KOA in town it is ok, the spots are close together, had a back in site which as described was close to a creek, but no mention of the highway right behind the creek. Seems a lot of long term campers. Everything worked just fine, did not use any of the amenities (it’s the COVID summer after all) so cannot say much. Cool tiny home was parked 2 spots down!

    Bowling Green KOA

    Standard KOA/Awesome stay!

This is a typical KOA park but in an awesome area. The only downside is the traffic noise from the highway. It was not audible inside the RV so it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep.

The park has nice long pull through spaces, and quite a few long term residents of the park. They have a very nice dog park with obstacles for them in a central location to be accessed by everyone.

The sites were level and clear of obstacles. They left plenty of space for vehicles and rigs. We had a pull through patio and the space had a giant beautiful tree that was very helpful in the heat.

Equipment is well maintained at this location! Cell service for AT&T and TMobile we’re both excellent.

    Nashville KOA

    The ultimate RV resort

This is the upper echelon of RV camping; a true resort with amenities to match. Family and pet friendly with plenty of walking space, playground and multiple fenced in areas for the dogs to play off leash. 20/30/50 amp power, water and sewer hookups at most sites.

As with most RV parks the spaces at the sites are tight, so be ready to get close to your neighbors. The campground requests that all trailers and RV use blocks under their stabilizers and not lay down any outdoor rugs to protect the grass.

One note for those making use of the sewer connection: The stand pipe sits somewhat higher off the ground than what you may see at other parks, so be prepared to get creative with your waste water hose to make sure you're running downhill before dumping tanks.

Had a quick weekend stop here. A few of the sites were closer together, but some in the middle of the campground were better. Regardless it was quiet and seemed like more long term campers.

    Shady Acres campground, Lebanon Tn

This is a perfect spot for passing through town. We are in our way to North Carolina from Mississippi. My husband made this reservation over the phone with a really trusting kind person. They double checked the availability because they were almost totally full. It was a pull through spot close to the bathrooms. We were able to use just electrical hook up for the night to rest. It’s a few minutes off I-40 and lots of gas options close by. It’s only minutes from Nashville downtown. This is a family owned business with a permanent house in the front. Looked like there were some long term rental people here. If it were summer months there is a pool up front. We will add this to our list for location and price!

    Best koa yet!

This KOA is the best I’ve stayed at yet! Easy access from highway, but far enough in that there is no highway noise. Full hook ups and cabins. Bathrooms and laundry are impeccable! Pool is great size and beautiful lawn chairs and pool toys to use. Gravel sites well maintained. Lots of trees. Beautiful eating area, restaurant. Shuttle service available for a fee.

    Percy Priest perfection

By far the nicest place we’ve stayed, amenity-wise. Our site backed up to an amazing view of the lake and the marina. Very clean, well-maintained and well-run. The only downsides are 1)it’s a little pricey and 2) sites are close together...typical rv resort spacing, but they are staggered so it’s fine. Very close to home for us, so that’s a bonus. *second stay here...avoid site 16. It’s a great location in theory, but your view is largely obstructed by site 15 which is angled the opposite direction (see pic). *we preferred staying on the marina-side. It was shadier and more private.

    Beautiful location

This park is located on a peninsula on a lake close to Nashville. Almost every site has a view of the water on flat concrete big pads. Some sites, on higher land, are mostly long term residents. Most sites are back in but there are a few pull through. Each site has all hook ups and are very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable. There is a camp store at the main office. The pool is very nice and there are games, a playground and a pavilion. There was a band there during my stay. Activities planned throughout the month. It is more expensive than most but the quality of the site is worth it.

    Poole Knobs

    It was nice

I recommend Seven Points Campground over Poole Knobs. Nothing wrong with it here, in fact our site had access to the lake in a semi-private sort of way. It was almost like we had our own beach. That said oir site was adjoining another and the RV hookups were a bit oddly placed. If we were traveling with others it would be cool to share a place, but it had sort of a semi-circle driveway. It was fine for us to get on and out, but if someone was in the adjoining lot it would have been a bit odd.

Overall its nice and well kept.

    Bledsoe Creek State Park Campground

    Easy primitive campingexperience with kids

Bledsoe is great for little kids (which is now my primary criteria when judging a park). There is a flat trail next to the lake that my two year old loves to run up and down, playgrounds, and a story trail. There are also some nice hiking trails with beautiful views of the lake (for me) and lots of bugs and turtles (for the toddler).

While most of the campsites have RV hookups, there are several primitive sites next to the lake that are away from all the generator noise. These sites have ample room and a nice view of the lake.

Great camping for families that is a short drive from Nashville.

Grand Ole RV Resort & Market

Nice campground, but very tight sites.

The Grand Ole RV Resort is a nice park to stay in near all the fun and sightseeing of Nashville, Tennessee. The campground is very tidy and well-kept. There are a lot of grassy areas for your dog and large shade trees to relax under. The office doubles as a restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily. They also sell snacks and basic RV supplies. The campground does not have a lot of amenities, but makes up for it with live nightly music! What a treat when you are visiting “Music City!” The sites are 30/50 amp FHU and pretty tight. We are literally parked less than 2 feet from our neighbor, so if you don’t like close quarters, this is probably not the right park for you. We enjoyed our stay here, though, and would stay here again when in the area. 👍🏻😊

Nice little spot, freeway right behind the park and can hear cars all day/night. Internet was down when we got here and cell signal is hit and miss on all 3 Carriers (Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile). Defeated Creek Campground

    Our favorite yet

Of all of our stays so far (RV resorts, state parks, private campground)...Defeated Creek is our hands-down favorite. **Edited to say...salt lick has it beat in our opinion. It was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Our beautifully shaded site backed up to Cordell Hull Lake, and we had front row seating to the most exquisite sunsets. People were very friendly and the general consensus was that defeated creek is everyone’s favorite campground. And we have our eye 👁 on site #71 for next time! Primo spot! We had site #47 and it was massive...plenty of room for everything even our cornhole set. Book way ahead...it books up fast.

Tip💡: follow WAZE directions rather than RV Trip Wizard!!! Trip wizard took us a bass ackward way through winding narrow back roads only to end up on the highway we were originally on!👎🏻

    Center Hill Campground

    A let down

The campground is not level at all. There are a few heavy wooden tables, but not anywhere close to the campsites. Tena, the lady that runs the campground was nice, but a little off. When I spoke to her to setup reservation, she was helpful. When we got here, she seemed put out by our presence. Also, the site I had reserved was taken by someone else she referred to as "squatters" and so we had to pick another site. One of the long term campers has dogs and they barked a lot during the night. Plan activities for yourself. There are no trails, or anything to do to entertain yourself. I'm seriously having trouble giving this 2 stars. I want to just put 1 star.

    Peaceful, shady, clean

The park is well kept, clean and lots of trees for shade. Good bike riding and walking trails.

The sites are back in and range from full hook up to primitive. Most sites are level. The water, power and septic all worked w no issues and were in decent shape. The roads are asphalt but aging. Bathrooms and showers were aging but clean and well placed throughout the campground. Some sites backed up to a slow creek, I would recommend 80 & 81 they have fabulous creek access.

    Camp by the water

COE-Campground. I love this campground, but hate the reservation system. Problem seeing sites booked, and the party no shows leaving a great site unavailable. Very frustrating. This reason knocks it down a couple notch’s on rating system.
Otherwise this is one of the best campgrounds in Tennessee. Beautiful lake views with rolling hills. Phone, TV, Satellite maybe unavailable on some sites. Campground does offers full hook- up, however some sites do not have sewer or 50 amp. Great for families! Kayaking and fishing and also beach for swimming. Picnic table and fire ring at all the sites. Book early!
