Best RV Parks & Resorts near Gallatin, TN

RV campsites near Gallatin provide varying levels of service and amenities. Nashville North KOA offers 95 full hookup sites with 50-amp electric service, water, and sewer connections available year-round. Grand Ole RV Resort & Market features level gravel sites with full hookups and is designed to accommodate large motorhomes. "Sites are very close together. Not much room between my RV and neighbor," noted one visitor about the Nashville North KOA's spacing. Elm Hill RV Resort (formerly Safe Harbor RV Resort) provides waterfront access on Percy Priest Lake with big-rig friendly spaces, though several reviews mention tight site spacing between neighboring RVs.

During summer months, reservations are strongly recommended as Nashville-area RV parks fill quickly with travelers visiting Music City attractions. Most campgrounds provide sanitary dump stations if sewer hookups aren't available at individual sites. Many parks accommodate pets with designated dog areas, though specific restrictions may apply. Full hookup sites typically include 50-amp electrical service, water connections, and sewer hookups. A recent review mentioned that "the campground requests that all trailers and RVs use blocks under their stabilizers and not lay down any outdoor rugs to protect the grass." For RVers needing supplies, several campgrounds feature on-site markets or are located near service centers, with Camping World situated adjacent to Two Rivers Campground.

Grand Ole RV Resort & Market

Peaceful, Well-Run RV Park with Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at The Grand O RV Resort! The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. A man even led us to our site in a golf cart and helped my fiancé back in and park our trailer, which was a huge help.

The campground had a small store with supplies, a restaurant with a menu available (though we cooked our own food), and live music each night while we were there during the summer — a nice touch! There’s a train that passes by on the nearby track a couple of times a day, but it was never super early or late and didn’t bother us at all.

We stayed in the center of the park, which didn’t have much shade, but the outer edge sites seemed more wooded. The roads and campsites are made of small pebbles, which made it easy to drive and back in. It was overall very quiet, and the location is great — just off the interstate, about 10 miles north of Nashville, and roughly 45 minutes from Bowling Green. We visited the National Corvette Museum and Lost River Cave while we were there.

Our site had full hookups (water, sewer, and electric). The bathhouse was clean, air-conditioned, and accessed with a key code — two toilet stalls and three showers for women, all very well maintained. We didn’t use the laundry facility (if there was one), but the Wi-Fi was decent, and T-Mobile cell service worked well, even for using our hotspot. It’s a pet-friendly park (though we didn’t bring pets), and while there’s no pool or playground, there were some nice wooden swings to enjoy.

They also have firewood for sale and a propane filling station on site. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend The Grand O to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and well-located RV park near Nashville!

    Nashville KOA Resort

Nashville KOA is a great place to stay when visiting the Music City.

The campground has a variety of sites from deluxe paved pull through with patios to back-in full hookups to tent sites. We stayed in the back-in sites side of the campground. The sites were close together(but not on-top of each other) and many were long enough to handle most average sized rigs. These sites were gravel with grass between, which was well maintained. 50& 30 amp service available. Very flat with minimal leveling needed. The wifi was spotty when the campground was full on the weekends.

The bathhouses have individual shower access with separate toilet facilities. These were clean and well maintained. The entire campground was very well maintained and landscaped beautifully, which created a welcoming feeling.

There are numerous amenities: pool, hot tub, playground, pickle ball, corn hole, etc. Live music is offered at the pool area a couple nights a week in addition to movies. The camp store is small, with limited selection, but it is attached to a nice size indoor rec room and restaurant/snack bar. A Camping World Store is also right next door to the campground, which is very convenient.

A shuttle service is offered daily from 10:00AM-1:30AM between the KOA and downtown Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The cost is$10 round trip per person. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any issues and questions. We enjoyed our stay and found the price($68) reasonable for the great location and amenities offered.

    Bowling Green KOA

    Standard KOA/Awesome stay!

This is a typical KOA park but in an awesome area. The only downside is the traffic noise from the highway. It was not audible inside the RV so it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep.

The park has nice long pull through spaces, and quite a few long term residents of the park. They have a very nice dog park with obstacles for them in a central location to be accessed by everyone.

The sites were level and clear of obstacles. They left plenty of space for vehicles and rigs. We had a pull through patio and the space had a giant beautiful tree that was very helpful in the heat.

Equipment is well maintained at this location! Cell service for AT&T and TMobile we’re both excellent.

    Edgar Evins State Park Campground

    GlamperGirl

This is my favorite place to camp. If you have furbabies you will love it. All campsites except the primitive are huge decks. Electric, water, grill, fire ring, picnic table and canopy of trees. Bathrooms are always clean. Showers have hot water fast. Fire wood is all around in the woods. Kayaking is great! Put in below Center Hill dam. 6 mile run of clear cold water! Stocked with trout. I don't fish but if you do, you will need a trout stamp. If you don't own kayaks there is a store called Big Rock Market. You can contact them and they will set you up with kayaks and they drop off and pick you up. So, back to the campground. Dog friendly, clean, 30 and 50 amp.,coin laundry at the camp store. Dump station and trash. Playground for children, view of the lake from most sites. Marina where you can rent boats. I just can't say enough about this awesome place. Friendly staff. I actually just stopped the ranger driving by to ask him a few questions. I am at site 9 this time. Usually 25. Some have inclines or declines. 9 has a slight decline 25 is flat. When you go to the map and click on a site it will tell you. Like site 23 is right next to a bathroom, but it has a steep incline. So pay attention to that when booking. There are hiking trails and wildlife. The woodpeckers start about 6:00 am. LOL! I have not seen a snake in the camping area. Just deer and birds.

    Two Rivers Campground

Nice RV park for visiting Nashville

Helpful staff, gravel level sites with concrete pads that have picnic tables on them. Full hook ups. There is a private bus the staff will call that will come pick you up and take you to downtown and return for $10.00. I took the bus because parking is more expensive than the bus fee. I didn’t use the laundry or showers but they looked nice and clean. Great place to stay while visiting Nashville. They had live bands every night out by the pool area while we were here. Nice place for a private park. I would stay again. Camping world is right next door if you need anything. Back in and pull through sites.

    Elm Hill RV Resort

    Beautiful location

This park is located on a peninsula on a lake close to Nashville. Almost every site has a view of the water on flat concrete big pads. Some sites, on higher land, are mostly long term residents. Most sites are back in but there are a few pull through. Each site has all hook ups and are very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable. There is a camp store at the main office. The pool is very nice and there are games, a playground and a pavilion. There was a band there during my stay. Activities planned throughout the month. It is more expensive than most but the quality of the site is worth it.

    Two Rivers Campground

    Great CG in Nashville

We spent two nights here (May 24-26, 2022). This is a nice, easy access CG with level pull through and back-in gravel sites in Nashville. It is located within a loop of the Cumberland River, between two RV dealer/repair facilities and surrounded by two RV CGs- it’s a busy area. There are a number of activities available: live music, swimming pool, recreation hall, playground and dog park. We did not make use of the laundry, bathrooms or showers. It is a great base camp to visit the Nashville (Grand Ole Opry) area. The WiFi was great as was cell phone reception. The cable TV worked well. We would stay here again.

    Nashville North

    City Outskirts campground

Nice little spot, freeway right behind the park and can hear cars all day/night. Internet was down when we got here and cell signal is hit and miss on all 3 Carriers (Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile). Delivery of anything is challenging for the drivers for some reason. Overall the facility it self is up-kept and clean. Good place for short term but look for better long term options.
