Eagles Nest RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations at Eagles Nest RV Park are handled entirely online, with check-in completed before arrival and campers proceeding directly to their assigned site. Nightly rates run from $11 to $50, and the park sits in a forested setting near Kentucky Lake in Buchanan, Tennessee. Sites are back-in only, with concrete pads, full hookups including electric, water, and sewer, plus individual patio areas and cable TV connections. A laundry room and shower facilities are available to guests on-site.

The park runs small and tends to fill with longer-term residents, though reviewers note that sites are consistently well-kept. Hosts have drawn particular attention in recent feedback for actively helping guests back in and checking on them during their stay. Cell service gets a mention as variable, so the on-site WiFi may come in handy. Campfires are permitted, and nearby convenience stores carry firewood and propane. Kentucky Lake, Paris Landing State Park, and the Big Sandy National Wildlife Refuge are all within reach for anglers and wildlife watchers.

One practical note worth flagging: Friday and Saturday nights can get noisy. Two businesses adjacent to the property host music and late crowds on weekends, something the campground has no control over. Sites 1 and 2 are also prone to flooding after rain. As reviewer Erich H. put it, the hosts were "helpful, kind, and friendly." Campers who can time their visit for a weeknight will find the atmosphere considerably different from a weekend stay.

Campers regularly cited the spacious concrete sites with patios, full utilities, and exceptional hosts. Nearby businesses create weekend noise, but most found it a well-maintained, quiet park near Kentucky Lake.

Friendly and Welcoming Park

Many long timers in the park but everyone keeps up their sites. A very friendly and welcoming park. This is a small park with only back in sites. You pay for your site when you make your reservation. Check in is all done on line. You go directly to your site upon arrival. We were very impressed with the management of the park. Very welcoming and helpful. Although the campground has no control, on Friday and Saturday nights the two businesses that back up to the park are noisy with music, cars, people. Just be aware. Make sure you go to TNT for pizza. Site 1 and 2 flood when there is rain. Site was fairly level.

Nice, Clean, Quiet, Friendly

Our campground hosts Shirley and Bobby were just phenomenal. Helpful, kind, and friendly. They assisted in helping us back in and ensured we were good to go. They would personally stop by to check-in. Met a few like-minded people. The campsite was clean and quiet. Definitely one of the nicest campgrounds that we have seen in the area.

The nicest RV Park near Kentucky Lake

Eagle’s Nest RV Park is a little slice of heaven located just 1500 feet from Kentucky Lake and 10 minutes from Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. The park is clean and well maintained and offers free boat parking. It has a picnic pavilion, laundry room, bath house and is has a convenience store and great restaurants nearby. We stay here each year that we come to Paris, TN for the annual catfish fry and to enjoy the area attractions. It’s a nice, quiet campground with plenty of space between RV’s. Each pad is concrete and has its own patio and plenty of shade trees. Highly recommended.
