Peder Larsen City Park

We just needed a place for the night as we were passing through and we hit the jackpot! It was so nice we almost stayed another night! It is a precious city park with a pool with life guard, play ground, basketball courts with adjustable goals, open shelters and screened shelters, concession stand during certain hours, bathrooms, separate bathrooms with showers during pool hours. There are only 10 camp sites, which are level gravel sites, which all back up to a beautiful grassy area where your picnic table is. Only 3 sites are shaded, but all have electric. There is potable water across from the middle sites. It is the cutest little Americana town and everyone we saw made us feel welcome.

Not bad for $20 a night with electricity. Only 8 spots that are all back in. Has a city pool and disc golf. easy walk to main st where there’s a bar and grocery store. Very laid back.

They have just recently added 4 more sites. Sites hVe 50 - 30 - 15 amp connections. Bathrooms ate across the playground. Showers at the swimming pool. Picnic house (open) has 15, 110 outlets. Site 3 offers most sun protection. The rest of the sites are sunny all day. Playground is very large for such a small village. Disk golf is also found here.

Call/visit the police station and pay $10 for camping. Access to the clean toilet and rv hookup. (we didn't use it since we are in our sedan) It's really a park in the town that kids play disk golfing (for free), but quiet and nice stay for a night.
