Starlite Camping Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Situated on a prominent hill in Stevens, Pennsylvania, Starlite Camping Resort runs from May through November and draws repeat visitors who cite the campground's consistency as a primary reason to return. The elevated terrain shapes the experience throughout: the access roads require some engine power for larger rigs, and campers towing heavy trailers should plan accordingly. Sites on the Plateau area open up to long sightlines over the surrounding countryside, while the rest of the campground sits under dense tree cover that keeps sites shaded and separated.

Site quality is a recurring theme in reviews. The terrain is hilly overall, but individual pads are graded level enough that most campers report needing few or no leveling blocks. As Craig F. notes, "the sites were large, with trees between, providing additional privacy." Water pressure and electric hookups draw consistent praise. Full hookups are available alongside water-and-electric sites, and the campground accommodates RVs up to 55 feet. A dump station, showers, WiFi, and a well-stocked camp store with a snack bar round out the on-site facilities.

Starlite sits within easy driving range of Lancaster County's PA Dutch attractions and Hershey, making it a practical base for families planning day trips across central Pennsylvania. Those looking for campsites near Hopeland will find Starlite among the more developed options in the area, with organized activities including bingo, crafts, and live music adding structure for groups with younger campers. Nearby alternatives include Cocalico Creek Campground and Hickory Run Family Camping Resort for those comparing options in the region. Families wanting full hookups, organized programming, and a clean, well-maintained facility will find this campground a reliable fit.

Heaven on Earth

We have been camping at Starlite with Dave and family for 15+ years. The campground is in a great location with easy access to Lancaster, Hershey and many other places to explore. The facilities are spotless and the campground is maintained to the highest standards I have seen. There are regular activities for all ages including bingo, crafts and live music. Add all of that to the best view we have seen and it’s a win win. We highly recommend!

Relaxing, Friendly, and Spacious!

We had a great family camping weekend at Starlight and will definitely return in the future. Yes, it is quite hilly throughout the campground, but the individual sites are very level to park the camper with almost no blocks needed.

We had two sites this trip with water and electric, but they do have quite a few full hook-up sites. Overall the sites were large, with trees between, providing additional privacy. Except for the Plateau sites, which have the amazing view, the rest of the campground had a great tree cover! Too often private campgrounds attempt to squeeze as many sites as possible and end up with campers on top of their neighbors, but at Starlight, the sites felt very secluded. Water pressure and electric were both great throughout the stay. There is no internet, but we had good cell phone service.

The employees in the camp store are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome! I felt everyone went above and beyond to help me from the reservation process through check-in. The camp store is well stocked and also serves hand-dipped ice cream.

Starlight is a nice campground to relax or explore central Pennsylvania.

Great, clean family run resort

This is a great family run campground. The store is nice, bathhouses are clean and private. Owners are super nice. There is also a great view of the surrounding countryside because it’s up on a big hill. If you’re hauling a big camper you’ll need power for the hills.
