So peaceful and pretty. As and added plus for anybody a fan of the band The Cars, Ben Orr’s grave is not far.

They hold lots of random activities for kids like tie dying, tractor ride, etc. We stayed in spot 24, which is very spacious, but I did not like the fact that it’s right next to the road where cars are speeding by. GuideThis is a nice campground. Well maintained, good shower and laundry facilities very clean. Lots of things to do and see nearby. There's Erie museum of maritime l , along with the tall ship Niagara , which was used in the war of 1812. Couple small lighthouses to tour. All sites have both 50 and 30 amp power, all sites have water, however, there is no sewer system or full hookups here. There is a easily accessible dump site. The RV park is located with a good Marina and boat launch. There's a lot of space between the campers. All the sites are level , and most of them are paved. They're wide enough to park most vehicles next to your camper, and in several cases, included people with good sized boats parked with their RV for easy launch and go . If you don't mind , their not having sewer hookup is at the site, This is one of the best campsites so far on our trip.

GuideI've heard there are campgrounds that discriminate against car camping, first time experiencing it. There are many sites where people have a LARGE camper, a car, and multiple tents spread out over a large area. We have 2 SUV's with tents that attach to the backs. We followed all the rules and are taking up about HALF of our site. We were told that is not allowed. When asked for reasoning and comparing to what we've seen around the park, we get no clear answer that makes sense. We are here with a group that rented about 20 sites. After spending 4 hours setting everything up, she says one may have to leave; she's waiting to hear from her boss. I will definitely never return here!
