3rd tent site offered was great!

They gave us tent site #60, we pull up and someone’s tent is there, we call and she says “go to #62” and we agree, well someone’s belongings were on the picnic table for that site and we thought well it’s probably just the campers stuff that are in site#61 but we let her know about the stuff and…

Nice place

Very nice place. Peaceful and pleasant. Nice moon views and away from hustle and bustle. Only turn off was a man that worked there that kept making sure your outside light were turned off. Annoying

Excellent place to camp

Huge place. Lots of room with plenty of shaded sites. Well maintained with new owners who are very pleasant. Old fashioned camping with fire rings where no one bothers you.

  • Playground great in ground pool
  • spacious

Affordable and private

Shen staying at two mile you will find the sites are separated by trees and offer you your own little private area. The prices are good and you truly are in nature.

Labor Day Weekend

I knock off a start for the neighbor who apparently stays there annually, who stumbled into our campsite in route to annoy other campers. She was visually drunk and kinda ruined our last night. But on the lighter note the man who is the caretaker and owner is a nice man he was kind enough to get us…

Never again

We came here the weekend of August 14, 2021 and it will be our last! Friday night was ok, but when Saturday afternoon came all hell broke loose when the electricity went out in over half the campground! We all heard that the electric would be back up within and hour and a half. After about two…

Construction impact

This was a nice place to camp, however, we booked on a site on the water where they shutdown and canceled our reservation with short notification. A entire section was shutdown for a lenghty peice of time which should have prevented us from booking. We got other sites without power because of…

Monster Campsites!

This park has huge campsites ! The pads are paved and they left a section of trees/woods behind each site to provide some privacy between neighbors. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The park is directly across the road from the paved bike trail which leads to…

Peaceful

Had an amazing 1 night tent camping. When we arrived it was just after a big rain storm and at check in she warned some spots can be flooded. We went to look at our reserved spot and it was super wet muddy and almost under water. They let us pick a new spot that was dry. It was really peaceful. The…

Good fishing

The sites are ok for your trailers/Rv, make sure you bring enough hose to connect to water. Each site does not have there own water connector, you have to run your hose 1 or 2 sites over. No sewage connectors, there is a dump station. Bathrooms are dated and need some better upkeep.

Long overdue honeymoon

We tent camped at site 76. Secluded and beautiful. We had the whole side of the upper loop to ourselves! Bumped up against the nature trail for a quick hike. We fished at the small section opposite the swimming area. We were alone the entire time! This park is well kept and very very clean.…

On the lake.

I have tent camped here many times over the years. No reservations for tent sites. Off and on the beach camping. Very friendly staff. Impeccable bathrooms and showers. Sandy but well worth the price. Will come back.

Do not recommend

Our site was not level. Bathrooms were not lockable and therefore felt unsafe.

Basic camping, but good price

A decent state campground. Extremely nice during weekdays, but overly crowded on weekends.
Highly recommend full hookup, unless you like waiting in line for bathroom / shower.

Great stay - small campground

If you are looking to stay at a small state park campground and bring your boat near your site or launch your canoe and paddle board look no further. We loved our stay site 208 (electric only) it was big and near the water. I’d stay here again.
