1910 tenement site

We received a free membership to Thousand Trails when we bought our camper. We booked this campground and drove two hours to get there. When we arrived we were told that we could pick a site down by the river in the loop. My wife and I thought that sounds nice and thought we had lucked out. When we pulled into the loop, all the travel trailers were literally on top of on another. The sites against the bank were short and uneven and because the shower house was so far away they had port a potties. It looked like a 1910 tenement site. We went back to the office and the employee told us that there were no other sites available for the two days we had booked. Rather than be miserable we canceled and drove home.

We stayed at another TT site in Swainton, NJ which was nice but too many annual site holders. Bottom line I think thousand trails is a waste book a nice campground.

Not a bad TT resort

Not a bad place to stay. Only negative is that sites are uneven. Must have leveling blocks. As far as internet, I have tmobile and I have 400Mb download and 50Mb up, so no issues streaming.

"Stay elsewhere if you can!"

This is not the first time we've stayed at a campground that did not issue site numbers upon reservation. From now on, we won't!! They let you pick your own when you get in, cuz they are so small, unlevel and difficult to get into, I bet the office does not want to be responsible for the crummy site they assign you! We hauled our rig all around, looking at sites on their"32-36 foot" list. None of them were big enough or accessible, especially those on the various'camp circles'. An employee passed us and we asked him about a larger site that was not on the list and he said"sure, you can park there" so we did. Boy, was the gal in the office steamed!! She wanted us to unplug everything and move. We stuck to our guns and stayed anyway. We definitely won't be back though, just passing through...

Tight Parcels

The place was packed, the lots were cramped up. The costumer service is bad. I drove 5 hours and slept in the parking lot (it was to late to get in) and wasted half of my day cause the check in is at noon (even though there was availability) I’ve been in other campgrounds that will allow you to check in late or early. if you are traveling from far plan accordingly.

Popular with the locals

We did get a great site by the river, no swimming sadly. The campground is packed and tight sites. They make you choose what site you want to be at, which is kinda cool. The grounds are hard to drive around in, if you have a big camper.

Very Friendly place

The staff was very friendly and so we're the people who were staying here as well. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Looking forward to coming back in the summer. Thank you Brenda our check in lady, you made us feel welcome 😊

Great fun

We first had a 2 point site near the river, but when it rains the sites get flooded with runoff from the campground.

We moved to a full hookup on the Delaware section. Open, accommodating for our rig.

Laundry is coin or app operated. Putt putt is still open and fun, so is playground. Arcade was open. There is an indoor pool and spa (spa closed due to Covid).

WiFi is available at a cost.

They had Halloween ever at every weekend of October and we spent Halloween weekend here. The kids loved it!!

It gets very full on the weekends here.

Love it here!

We love to stay here anytime of year. We stay down by the river. Electric and water only, but there is a honeypot that will pump out if you stay longer. There is an area you can get in to the river to go tubing. So much fun!

Getto on the creek trailer park on hill

Sites are small you park on top of your neighbors. Sites are unlevel both front to back and side to side. Sites near creek are getto and sites on hill are in a trailer park. Lots of mobile homes and full time residence. Roads are tight and steep enough to drag bumper. No shade anywhere. Site we were on in section B strong smell of sewer. Cell phone radio and digital TV signal were spotty at best. Only good thing is access to creek. First and last stay.

Beautiful place, awesome people

I loved this campground! I'm not a huge fan of the "go find a site" policy they have, but it worked out fine. I got an amazingly large site with a nice fire pit and picnic table. The site was very level so that was great! Nice indoor and outdoor pools! Cable TV isn't free, but I never use it anyway. Wifi too isn't free and only available is certain areas. Verizon cell service is weak but useable. I'll definitely be back!

Laid back

The staff is VERY friendly!

You do need to get there early, as in the morning, to get a good spot, especially on a Friday. There is a lazy river that is great for kayaking or tubing, but if you don't have a truck or dolly, you will need to park down by the river.

Great campground, we'll be back.

As with all thousand trails, this campground is first come best site. While the top part of the campground seemed more communal, we chose the lower, Riverside sites and we're glad we did! The campground sits in the center of a horseshoe curve of the river, bring tubes and kayaks! We didn't know but went and bought a tube and spent the day on the river!

Bug spray is a must and lower sites are muddy, all in all, we had a great weekend here!

Fun for the family

Lots of events to keep the kids busy. We happened to be there on the weekend a magician came, my kids loved it. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Nice playground. We were down by the river and had a lot of room on our site.

Cute camping resort like feel

We decided to camp in the fall and did a cabin since it was colder and we had the baby. We loved it! There is a par 3 golf course, indoor pool, mini golf, basketball, and that is in the fall. They also do canoeing in the warmer months and will shuttle you. We want to come to back and do that. The cabin was cute, clean, and warm. It snowed a bit but we had an outdoor fire. We cooked inside and my parents had their t.v. next door. I went for an early morning run and the camping sites are terrific, too.
