Great Place

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Kids enjoyed the park, they offer a small paddle boat to take any time you want on their little lake on site, the area is beautiful, coworkers are friendly. Happy we came!

Some nice features

We stayed here for a few days for a quick getaway. Our 3 young kids enjoyed the playground the most — there were lots of fun things for the kids on the playground. There was also a nice pond — it looked pretty full of fish, but we had forgotten our fishing gear. We had hoped for paddle boats which were advertised — but there was just one pretty unusable boat. The campground was pretty quiet with a lot of long term residents. We were originally supposed to be in the woods — which FYI is far out of the way of the main activities, and also has a pretty steep incline. But the site was too uneven for our taste so we moved down in the main area, which was better for us. The spots are pretty close together but thankfully we didn’t have anyone to the side of us. The staff was all very friendly and very accommodating and helpful!

Great family owned campground

The family that runs the campground makes everyone feel welcome and feel like you've been their 1000 times. Bathrooms are nice and plenty of things to occupy the kids.

Great family run campground

This is a nice quiet little campground. The people who run it are super helpful and the store is well stocked with anything you need. They have plenty of events and the pool is nice and clean to cool off on those hot camping days. They also have a nice little pond you can fish. The only downside I could find is the amount of permanent sites makes it seem more like your staying in a trailer park then a campground which leads to a lot of traffic in and out. Highly recommend staying here with lots of close hiking trails within driving distance.

Hidden Gem for Families

This campground goes above and beyond to make you feel like home. at 35/night during peak season for a primitive site it’s a little above our usual budget. However we found it to be well worth it. The primitive sites are back in the woods which kept us nice and cool on hot July nights. The location also kept us fairly bug free. Note: The campground WiFi does not reach the primitive sites and I had 0 cell/GPS service on the entire premises (my carrier is AT&T) This campground features an amazing playground, a pond, a beautiful pool, a rec room, a wonderful hiking trail, and a basket ball court. It’s about a 15/20 minute drive to any sort of grocery or liquor store so we wished the camp store had more to offer. The people who work and stay there absolutely want to make you feel at home. At one point a lantern needed a specific battery and I watched several patrons go check their RVs. The sense of community and welcoming really sold this place to us and we plan on coming back soon!

Quiet family oriented camp ground

There were a lot of events for everyone of all ages. The sites were a little close together but still plenty of room. The pool and playground were very clean and well taken care of. There was a huge wood pile and it was only $10 per wheelbarrow full. We had a great time relaxing as this is in the fields of Lancaster county. Very peaceful!

Quiet out of the way family campground

This was a nice, family oriented campground. They had a lot of events that people participated in like candy bar and regular bingo, corn hole and horse shoe tournaments and a dj. There was a lot of space so walking our dogs was great. The smaller bathroom stalls are pretty small but got the job done. Playground and pool were both nice and clean. Wonderful place for a family. We had a corner site and had plenty of room. We met a whole bunch of very nice people and would definitely go back.
