State park on the regular

This is a good state park. Not anything fancy. The views are amazing and the hiking make up for the no frills compared to other state park facilities.

Peace and quiet. Communing with nature at it's finest.

Tc the place to be

Love this place to relax and enjoy the ponies and beach life. Good amenities and the best place to camp on Chincoteague

Sister wives and glamping

We usually take a trip with the 3 families but all buy one set of the men fill stayed behind leaning us with 3 women, 5 children and one man, thus the title.

It was early March so we had a little cabin, which was adorable and had electricity and we used a space heater and were very toasty. The fellow next door had an r.v. and were watching television outside as we roasted marshmallows. They get yelling and laughing about how they were "glamping". All the kids thought they were hilarious.

There are great trails, clean amenities, plenty of places to swim when it's warms and get your water sports on.

The kids still talk about this trip.

Cute camping resort like feel

We decided to camp in the fall and did a cabin since it was colder and we had the baby. We loved it! There is a par 3 golf course, indoor pool, mini golf, basketball, and that is in the fall. They also do canoeing in the warmer months and will shuttle you. We want to come to back and do that. The cabin was cute, clean, and warm. It snowed a bit but we had an outdoor fire. We cooked inside and my parents had their t.v. next door. I went for an early morning run and the camping sites are terrific, too.

Amazing!

This park sets the standard for state parks. It is clean, with great amenities. The park is seperated for dog lovers and those who want to be away from animals. The playground is great too. There are great trails for novice hikers and those who want something more.

At night the stars! What a show! You will not be disappointed.

Matthew's Arm

We stayed at for a weekend and had a great time. The sites are clean, well marked, and ready for you to set up camp. There are not showers but bathrooms were you can wash up and plenty of fresh water.

Gorgeous does not begin to describe the views. There are great trails for hiking for the amateur to the serious hiker alike. Be sure to check out the waterfalls and pools!

The only caution are the black bears on the trails. They are few and far between but be aware of them.

This is a great campground! One of our favorite paces to camp.
