Top expensive for what it is

It was the only one campground open in town, so no choice. The campground is beautiful, but amenities are bad. Showers are all broken, and dirty. There is only one faucet working at the dish sink. But people are nice, and helpful.

Horrible Management and Policies

Horrible experience. Booked the trip well in advance as the tail end of a two-week trip. Tried to change the reservation because we experienced RV trouble and had to delay the trip two days. There was no availability on the revised day. Hence, we had no choice but to cancel the reservation and look for something else. At that time, we were informed that there is a TWO-WEEK cancelation policy to get a refund. That is absurd for people that make plans for any trip. Management was rude. I later called to explain that their own reservation conformation said that any changes made within 72 hours carried a$25 fee- NO EXCEPTIONS. I was yelled at through the phone to check the website under cancellation policies. I was then scolded and told that was for CHANGES. Not CANCELLATIONS. After reading other reviews on this platform, I should have never even considered this place. Please read the reviews. Please do not patronize this place and keep them in business.

Nice but crowded

Sea Ranch Resort was a very safe place to stay a campsite full of families and seemingly nice people. Reserving online was easy although they charged me for two camp sites and didn’t respond to my emails about a refund. Other than that it was pretty good i’d stay there again.

Awesome location

Loved this resort! Yes, it’s rustic, the shower/bathrooms look like they were built in the 50s, but that’s what makes it charming! You cannot beat the location, it’s an easy walk to the beach or to town. Highly recommend Public Coast Brewing, which is about a quarter mile away. The setting is beautiful, right on Ecola Creek, and we saw elk, rabbits and the site horses while there. Some sites looked a little tight, but we had no issues with ours.

Great Location not a great price

Very beautiful beach and town just 15 min away. Campground is clean and calm, cabins look great from outside. We did not used showers - so no idea how it is, although dumpster recycling super great ! There are beautiful elk coming to the property, also domesticated black rabbits are running around , horses. Price is high, and we have been charged 25 for pups, also one must to sign declaration of not braking campground rules, which one of them is ‘not using drugs’ ( including marijuana) ; otherwise 300 dollars fine :) staff was great ! and campers around super respectful to each other

Great location and clean facilities

You can’t beat the location! Walk to the beach, shops and restaurants in a few minutes. The sites are close but it’s the Oregon coast. Wifi is solid and I’m able to work. Verizon service is good. Their sauna is expensive but nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, very close quarters.

Stayed here for one night- the location was amazing, walked to the beach to watch the sunset in less than 10 minutes. So close to town. Only downside was that it’s a small space so everyone feels a bit crammed in. It was labour day weekend so pretty packed but would probably still stay here again just to be close to everything.

Cannon beach car / tent / RV camping

Pros: Location is easily walkable to beach and town; comfortable, grassy and variable size sites to accommodate tent next to car up to 5th wheel; water and power (including 110 outlet) at each site, some with sewer hook up; very clean restroom facility with pot / dish wash station; bench and fire ring at each site; easy come easy go Cons: more expensive than advertised ($77 actual vs. $45 advertised); no ice, no wood; horse pasture has flies, could smell if hot;

Great location

After seeing some bad reviews I was apprehensive but we went any way. I couldn’t be happier. The staff was friendly. The location was great. We had a great visit. That being said we went during the week I would not want to be here on a weekend at full capacity. The sites are small and cramped. The office staff was friendly. The maintenance staff was friendly but shy. Look people. Be kind to the staff and they will be kind to you..,,,

Walking Distance to Town and Beach

This campground was in a prime location as it was close to town and the beach. Spots are pretty close together but it was quiet and turned out to be a nice place to stay.

Small gem, great location

I am not normally super spontaneous but on Friday afternoon I looked at the weather in Cannon Beach and decided yep, we’re going camping. I have both of my kids this weekend so it was a great opportunity for a family trip. As much as I wanted to throw my hammock and a couple tents in the jeep and head out on an adventure, I needed to accommodate the vast requirements of 2 teenagers. One who does not particularly like camping, especially if it’s in a tent so I wanted to find a cabin. With such a late booking I knew not to get my hopes up.

I headed over to The Dyrt and started my search. Looking up "Cannon Beach" with the cabin filter on I was able to see a few campgrounds there, I saved them to my list and started making calls to find an opening. I lucked into“Sea Ranch” and although I must have driven by this location dozens of times, It is kind of in a hidden spot right when you get into Cannon Beach’s north end. The manager who answered the phone was straight to the point but friendly. I booked 2 nights. She let me know check-in was at 7pm but if we were running late to just call and we’d be fine. She also went over a covid symptoms check and let me know the park rules. I rushed to pack all of our stuff and get on the road to make it in time to check in!

After a mildly congested drive out to Cannon Beach, we pulled off the 101 into town. Sure enough, we were late. I called and it was no issue. The map only showed the address so we had a couple turnarounds to find the entrance. It’s tucked away behind a park and a bridge and easy to miss off the road. We pulled up to the building and got our key as well as a portable heater which was a surprise(with such a warm weekend we didn’t end up using it). The campground is fairly small and the sites follow suit setting close together and not overly private. I am not sure this would be my first choice for tent camping. Although some of the sites towards the back of the campground are a bit more spacious and wooded and have nice trees for hammocks, if that’s your thing. I was relieved to see the cabin we were staying in was off the beaten path. Parking was a breeze and we parked right next to our weekend shelter.

The cabin was small, cozy, and clean. The kitchen area had plenty of cabinets to store stuff and decent counter space. A microwave and small refrigerator were also helpful. The small bathroom housed a mid size shower(with enough hot water for 1 shower) and full size toilet. The beds were pretty comfortable and the futon was in good enough shape. A large patio and fire pit outside gave us plenty of room outside. Lot’s of trees around gave nice shade and lot’s of small animals were around, chipmunks, bunny rabbits and various birds.

The campground also looks like it has some nice features that weren’t available due to COVID. A large general store, a horse ranch, ice and firewood. Still open was a building that housed bathrooms and showers, RV features including a sanitary dump and water. It also looked like there was a big sink area to clean dishes and whatnot. A large dumpster was also near this building for dumping trash. All in all this is a gem located a couple blocks from the beach and downtown Cannon Beach.

I would 100% stay here again and have added it to my saved campsites list.

Great spot in Cannon Beach

I love this campground for its closeness to the beach. There are not a lot of campgrounds near Cannon beach so this one is my favorite because I can walk to the beach. Clean restrooms with hot showers for this Pacific Northwest Campground.

Great spot to stay in Cannon Beach

This is a great campground to stay at if you’re visiting Cannon Beach and nicely centrally located along the coast to visit the surrounding areas. You can walk into town (2.5 blocks) and the spaces are very green with picnic tables at each. Good size spots, not super spacious but good size flat spaces. There are RV(12’-40’)/Tent sites as well as various size cabins. They also have a general store and coffee bar. During the summer they have various horse 🐴 rides along the beach including night rides.

Full Hook-Up $62.00/night Water and Electric $57.00/night Tent Site $45.00/night Small Park Cabins $105.00/night (sleeps 2) Large Park Cabins $120.00/night (sleeps 3)

Great location!

For a place right in Cannon Beach this place is great. Clean and green. Beautiful landscape and you could easily walk or ride a bike to the beach a few blocks away. The spaces are a bit small so I’m not sure you’d want to bring an RV here but for tent ⛺️ it’s definitely a nice spot.

Nice Campground in the Middle of Cannon Beach

Even though I tend to stay mostly at public campgrounds whenever possible, every once in a while a sweet private campground will pop up and make me rethink my ways. Sea Ranch Resort is one of the nice private campsites that still feels homey and unique rather than cookie cutter. Add to it that the campground is practically right in the middle of Cannon Beach, and both the location and the grounds are winners.

There's a wide variety of places to stay including tent sites, RV sites, and cabins, along with clean bathrooms and showers. I especially appreciate the nice strolls, flowers, and pathways throughout. If you're looking for a nice place to lay your head while in the area you've found a good one.

Close campground to Cannon Beach

Great campground about a mile from Cannon Beach. There are cabins, RV sites, and tent spaces. It's a little higher in price then a national forest campground, I paid around $40 a night, but was there for the Cannon Beach Sandcastle Competition, which I highly recommend going to. There were several tent sites with some in the shady tree area and others in the sun. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. At the bath house there was an outdoor sink area, where you could do your dishes. There are even horse stables on the grounds that you can pay to ride on the beach. It is a great campground in the city of Cannon Beach. I would recommend this park to anyone wanting to camp near the beach.
