Away from road noise and set within Siuslaw National Forest, Dry Lake Horse Camp sits between Florence and Yachats with corrals for horses, pit toilets, and open terrain near a lake. The turn off the highway is sharp and immediately uphill, making it a poor fit for large trailers. Water is limited. When nearby campgrounds fill up, this spot tends to stay quieter, and free dispersed pull-outs exist along the road for overflow. Horse Creek Campground — Siuslaw National Forest sits roughly a mile northwest for those needing more developed facilities.
