Free and drive-in accessible, Pioneer Bridle Trail Camp sits just off Highway 26 near Government Camp, making it one of the easier dispersed sites to locate in the area. The first pullout features a large flat area and a fire circle, with additional spots further down the road that offer more separation from other campers. Road noise is a real factor here. Trucks air braking on the highway are audible, particularly at the first site, so campers sensitive to traffic sound may want to explore spots deeper along the road. This camp works best for groups needing a flat, accessible overnight stop with minimal setup.
