Great spot, zero privacy

15 per night, 95 per week. 14 day limit with portable water and showers(8 quarters). Bathrooms were very clean and half the sites are visible from the river, so not bad.

Not Bad for Privately Owned

This isn't bad for a privately owned RV Park. The facilities are old but reasonably maintained. Showers are hot, but do cost an extra $2/use, and you need quarters. Easy access to the Rogue River is the best part.

Grumpy host

Camp host was very grumpy, znd not very helpful. Mayne just an off day for her. Most campsites roped off, and not many desirable places to choose from, beautiful river views,no free camping here. And too many rules. Might as well stay at a hotel

Quiet and cozy

This was such a quiet and cozy spot right on the river. There are bathrooms and showers ($2 in quarters to shower) and each spot has a table and a fire pit. The manager was super nice and helpful when we came in late and couldn’t figure out how to pay.

It is definitely a family friendly campground with no riff raff. They take quiet hours very seriously.

Nice RV park

Nice lil RV park. Coin showers are YMCA style, but hot. Flush toilets. No WiFi, no TMobile. There’s a day use area and road to the bar to put boats into the river. Quiet with camp host on site but a bit of a fish bowl- no privacy between sites. Heads up, 420 unfriendly, zero tolerance policy. But quiet, safe. Female solo traveler thumbs up.

Park-like Setting

Nice basic campground.  There are lots and lots of sites that are very close together with just about zero separation between sites other than a few lucky tucked away sites.  Some sites are all sun and some sites are all shade, and some have a mix.

There is one partial hookup site at $25/night, otherwise all the sites are dry camp sites at $15/night. Walk up only, no reservations. Self pay, and you get no receipt or tag to show you paid.  You just drop your payment in the box.  No dump station.  We did not check out the showers.  There are vault toilets in the middle of the campground. Aluminum can recycling bins near the dumpster.

We did see a group camping area but I didn't see anything about fees or reservations, so call ahead if you need group camping.

We didn't see or interact with any hosts or anyone in charge.

Nice enough place, but it was very crowded and we weren't crazy about how close to your neighbor you are, and we happened to stay there during a heat wave and just couldn't handle the heat, so we went back to the coast after one night.  Being on the river and just a few miles inland from the coast did not keep temps down.

Cell reception was very iffy, basically non existent.

Solid location, strict speed rules

Really great campground: pretty location right on the river, hot showers, restrooms, fire pits. It looked like it was all tent sites (no hookups) but plenty of big rigs were there as well. They take the 5 mph rule very seriously. We drove in at about 10 and corrected to 5 when the assistant camp host screamed at us and then drove to our campsite to yell at us more.

7 miles up Rogue River campground

Camped with travel trailer above the river gravel bar. No hookups, but had access to $2.00 hot showers, flush toilet, and a place to wash dishes behind restroom. Bathroom was clean. Fire pit and picnic table at our campsite. It wasn’t very busy in April. Osprey, ducks, geese on the river. Camp host was friendly.

Enjoyed the peace & serenity of this tiny piece of heaven on the Rogue River.

This year round campground offered large spaces for any size motorhome. Since there were only a few other campers during early October we found it quiet where the only sounds we heard were bird’s calls & taking flight. Bald eagles & river otters were common sights. There are bathrooms, showers & trash disposal. Bathrooms were clean, usable but a bit industrial looking. Showers were dark with walls and floor that were gray concrete. We saw the camp host on our this day there who was kind and offered some info on the firing we saw & heard. Apparently they catch sturgeon & transport it to a fishery where they harvest sperm & eggs. The resulting fry are returned here where the seals or sea lions are waiting. The going is to scare them off & give the sturgeon a fighting chance. The only recommendation I would have is better campsite management. I’m leaving 4 stars because of trash left scattered by previous campers along the bank & in the campsite which could have easily been removed.

Just OK

I wouldn’t rave about this campground. We stayed for a night it was just ok. It’s dry camping, if you are coming with a trailer you should know that. Not so friendly, far from the river ... just another pit stop.

Extra star for Sean the camp host

The camp host was so helpful and nice. Their flower gardens were so beautiful. The campgrounds were clean as were the bathrooms. The second star was for the nice host!

The campground was not great. The spots are very close together, were just dirt, and the loud guests were not kept quiet during quiet hours. We stayed one night and got out of there.

spacious riverside campground

This campground is right next to the Rouge River. There is a beautiful day use area with lots of picnic tables and a neat gazebo. You can swim, boat, float, or sun tan by the river.Plenty if recreational activities on this river. Tent and trailer camps spots are available with. Bathrooms, showers, and hookups also available at this open year round campground. Well maintained and is a perfect spot along the river.

Along the Rogue River

A private campground along the River Rogue. About 8 miles east of Gold Beach on the south side of the river. A first come first serve park. A big area to hold lots of camper/boats/tent. There is no boat lunch in the park. Spaces along the river have little shade. Dry camping and uneven terrain. Have access to water, a big bathroom, but pay $2 for a shower. Garbage and Recycle by the office. Close to a river hike along the river. Open year round. Close to Jerry's Rogue Jets in Gold Beach Oregon. Hard to get cel service or mobile data (use Verizon). Camping area could be marked better.
