Very nice. Reservable on RA, free hot showers, clean flush toilets, drinking water. Spots in the woods have nice privacy, spots in loop B are open and good for solar set ups. All spots close to the beach, I fell asleep to the sound of the surf. Lovely

RV park and marina- essentially a big parking lot, no privacy. But they aren’t picky with car campers, I’m in a sedan and saw other car camping folks and wasn’t hassled. ~$30 to dry camp, only rule no tents. YMCA style bathrooms, free cold showers, hot showers are $1.50 for 5 mins, in quarters. Laundry and ok wifi. Next to Rogue Brewery and there’s a tap room by the bathrooms. Walking distance to the aquarium and there’s a bus stop in camp for the bus that goes all over town. Nice stay to get a shower and recharge. Female solo traveler thumbs up. Oh and you can hear the sea lions barking up a storm!

$8 a night or $4 w interagency pass. On-site host who sells firewood. Vault toilets, clean but strong smell if you have a site down-wind. But GREAT for solar set ups- all day sunshine. Good for stargazing too. But no privacy between sites, basically just a big meadow. A bit of a party camp but quiets down at night. Close to day use area w access to the river. Nice lil RV park. Coin showers are YMCA style, but hot. Flush toilets. No WiFi, no TMobile. There’s a day use area and road to the bar to put boats into the river. Quiet with camp host on site but a bit of a fish bowl- no privacy between sites. Heads up, 420 unfriendly, zero tolerance policy. But quiet, safe. Female solo traveler thumbs up.

Loooooved this campground. There's a meadow area for RVS and a forested area for smaller rvs/vans and tents. Some tent sites have electrical outlets, all tent sites have a spigot. BIG bathrooms with flush toilets, hot coin showers, laundry room. Laundry room has a soap machine AND a change machine. Hosts are super nice and the facilities are really clean. The grounds are beautiful, there's a lovely large lake with a little footpath around it - I saw otters in the lake and elk in the front meadow! Great base to explore the redwoods, Trinidad, Patrick's Point and Eureka. I got some TMobile service near the road but the wifi didn't work for me. Solo female traveler approved, super chill. There were a few open spaces even over the weekend.

Off the beaten track but nice, safe, clean. $8 a night or $4 if you have an interagency pass. Large vault toilets. No water. There's a general store ~10 minutes away if you drive towards Shelter Cove. Bring your bug spray! Pretty quiet during the week but it filled up by Saturday.  Solo female traveler thumbs up for chill vibes.

Nice private campground, $35 a night or $30 if you pay cash. Private beach/boat ramp and path leading to the state park and trails along the bluffs. Not a lot of privacy between sites. Porta Potty’s and the showers were outdoor stalls with no roof, but water got hot fast, $2 in quarters for 5 mins. I didn’t get any T-Mobile service. Safe and quiet at night

Run by Calfire and to be fair they likely have better things to do during fire season than maintain the campsites

Lots of trash piled up around the cans, sites were covered in loose trash including old rusted car parts. On the honor system for the pay box. Since rangers don’t come around much I think it’s a “party” camp for local kids. Campsite near me was blasting music day and night and a couple got into a drunken domestic fight that sounded like it nearly came to blows. I almost left in the middle of the night to find a hotel.

A shame bc the woods and creek are quite lovely. Near the road.

Gosh what a nice campground. Paved walking/biking path to Lake Tahoe but you’ll want to spend all your time at fallen leaf lake. Flush toilets, drinking water, camp store, HOT coin showers. Really nice facilities, incredibly clean. Beautiful spot. Heads up though, the bear warnings are no joke- I saw 4 during my stay, mama and some cubs by the lake and one in camp.

Large clean vault toilets and drinking water, nice hosts, large sites that would be good for rvs. Some noise from highway but the road quiets down after dark. Trail down to the river and lots of little beaches which are lovely, saw some folks fishing. Nice and safe- female solo traveler thumbs up.

Nice little site by a creek. Vault toilets, no water. Last 5 mins of drive is dirt road and pretty twisty turny mountain roads. Wouldn’t want to drive after dark or with a real big rv, but my sedan made it just fine. Nice host and quiet at night.
