Cabin camping near Rogue River, OR is available year-round at campgrounds including Valley of the Rogue State Park, River Park RV Resort, and Medford-Gold Hill KOA. Standard cabins typically include beds, electricity, heat, and basic furnishings, while more deluxe options may feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and air conditioning. Cabin sizes generally accommodate between 2-6 people depending on the location and style. Clean facilities are available at many locations, with one visitor noting, "The park's CG areas run along I-5 so you are going to get road noise regardless of your site. We used our sound machine at night so the road noise wasn't too bad."

KOA-style cabins at Grants Pass KOA and Medford/Gold Hill KOA Journey offer standardized accommodations with predictable amenities. Seven Feathers RV Resort provides more upscale cabin options with additional furnishings and facilities. Most properties require advance reservations, particularly during summer months when occupancy rates are highest. Pet policies vary by location, with several properties including Valley of the Rogue State Park permitting pets in certain cabin units. As one guest mentioned, "The campground is huge with numerous loops full of RVs and tents, and there's plenty of grass and space for running around."

Visitors should plan to bring their own bedding, towels, and personal items as these are rarely provided in standard cabin rentals. While basic rustic cabins may only offer electricity, premium cabins at locations like Jackson Wellsprings include additional kitchen facilities with microwaves or small refrigerators. Campground stores at KOA locations and Seven Feathers RV Resort stock essential items, though selection is limited to basics. Larger grocery options exist in nearby Grants Pass and Gold Hill for more extensive provisioning. Firewood is available for purchase at several properties including Medford-Gold Hill KOA and Sunny Valley Campground for cabins with outdoor fire pits or shared fire facilities.

      Great Place

This is a great place.  The cabin is vintage and takes you back in time.  It was clean and comfortable.  The out house was very clean.  There is no water so you need to bring your own.  The Fridge and stove worked really well, we did have issues trying to get the lights to work.  But we had lanterns so it was not a problem.  We were visited by some cattle that were grazing near by.  Bring your own cleaning supplies and bedding.  The beds are full size with trundles under neath, there are two of them.  There is a small table with chairs in the kitchen.  There  is a picnic table and fire ring outside as well.

      Sunny Valley Campground

      Very nice!

We were here for a quick overnight in our 24' travel trailer. The place is very nice with tent, cabin, and RV sites. Our site was partial HU but they do have full HU sites. Bathrooms and showers were clean. It's close to I-5 bit the road noise was not bad and a chorus of frogs throughout the evening distracts from it. We were in spot 67 which was spacious and offered a great deal of privacy. Picnic table and fire pit on site. The nearby covered bridge is neat to see.

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

Brilliant blue waters in an intrepid forest.

This beautiful camp ground is a must! They have Cabins and camp sites available. I would advise reserving far in advance. The park and sites are well taken care of and a wonderful environment for a peaceful stay with hot shower facilities and restrooms.

Family and pet friendly, you will have direct river access to The Rogue River and its brilliant blue waters. Located down it's own little valley, this gives it the seclusion you are looking for and the access to town, if needed, only about 20 minutes away.

This camp ground is well worth any drive you may have to take to get there. Gorgeous!

Rainbow Bay at Lake of the Woods

      Great spot for the family!

My entire family has stayed here twice for family reunions and it has been a great spot for the entire family! They have cabins (tiny houses) for rent as well as spots for RVs! The lake is absolutely stunning and a great size for boating and fishing. The tiny cabins do have some critters living in them but as long as you don’t leave food on the counters you should be okay!

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

Yurts/ RV/ Tents- on the Rogue River

Last September a few friends and I camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park. I rented a huge yurt w electricity, and they each had travel trailers. Other friends of ours trickled in over the weekend as well sat around the campfire and cooked delicious meals.

The bathrooms were clean and roomy and super close to our sites. They also had a really large picnic table and plenty of parking. The check in kiosk was simple and friendly.

And it’s right on the Rogue River- so bring your kayaks!!

      Sunny Valley Campground

      Ms Hana

This is such a unique campground with RV sites with full or partial hookups, tent spots and many renovation’d cabins all spread out so no one is on top of each other. There are even 2 rustic wagons available during season.

All the different styles of camping come with picnic table and fire pit with wood available to purchase or wander around and the many trees offer up kindling and branches to keep the fire lit during my stay. One of the most serene and peaceful camping experiences I’ve enjoy’d this year. The staff is helpful and the renovations are in full swing during these off season months. There’s an off leash doggie zone that we’ll maintain’d with parent benches made from logs for the adults to rest on whilest their puppys run n play amongst the trees

I highly recommend Sunny Valley Campground located right off I-5 with highway rumbling being the only downside all the other amenities certain overide this single flaw.

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

      Lucked out!

Was set to Harvest Host (dry camp) at a delicious brewery in Grants Pass, OR, for a one-night stopover, but area temps were a scorching 102 degrees. With only solar, it would have been uncomfortable for us and unsafe for our dogs, so we chanced it and scored a one-nighter in the F loop (electric and water only—AC was a necessity until the sun had long set!), thanks to the kind help of a camp host passing by on his quad! F-06 backed up to a field between the site and the Rogue River. We slept wonderfully! $39 for non-Oregon residents. It was a GIFT!!!

      Pros:

      • Quiet
      • Space between sites
      • Clean site (host had just washed it down before our arrival)
      • Flat sites (plenty of tent campers as well!)
      • Shade from trees
      • Camp hosts
      • Clean bathrooms
      • Free showers
      • Free, clean dump (donation box for non-campers)
      • Located on Rogue River with the massive bike path that cruises through it that connects towns along the Rogue
      • Price

      Cons:

      • Located off the I5. Traffic is like white noise for us, but for those seeking absolute silence, you won’t find it here.
