Veterans! Avoid! "America the Beautiful" interagency passes NOT honored

Lake of the Woods does not entirely honor the "America the Beautiful" interagency pass, even tho it is privately run it is on public NFS land that those passes should cover.

Shame on Lake of the Woods for taking money from Gold Star Families, Veterans, and Active Duty Servicemen and Women.

It's a privatized mess. Don't go there. Diamond Lake, Odell Lake, Paulina Lake are MUCH better destinations AND honor "America the Beautiful" passes.

All in one place.

Camped in our trailer, while son and his family rented a cabin. Great time. Music, restaurant has delicious food, and the fishing wasn't half bad (boat rentals available). This place has thought of everything. So busy we didn't have time to put the kayaks in the water. Made reservations for September 2021 while we were there.

Best burgers

If you are craving a good hamburger their restaurant has the best burgers. Only thing I wish is that there were more activities to do. The place is clean and beautiful .

Beauty Everywhere!

I first came here with my family back in the 1970’s and had such a great time I couldn’t help coming back for a visit all these years later, gladly much hasn’t changed. The resort is rustic and beautiful and everything you need. The lake is right there and the views are spectacular. Some tent sites are steps away from the shore, and other sites have hook ups for rigs. This is a great jump off spot to Klamath Falls & Crater Lake or just short drives to explore the surroundings.

Best campground ever!

By far the prettiest camp site ever. Couple hundred yards away from the lake. Well kept sites for tents and trailers. Had cabins as well and a nice beach. Awesome fishing as well! I plan on going again and again every year! But be sure to reserve in advance!
