Right on the Klamath River

Stayed here 2 nights enroute to PNW. Huge parking pads, picnic table, and full hookups. Sites are well spaced apart. The riverfront sites cost a little more but are worth. Camp hosts are super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful setting beside the Klamath River

The campground is located about 6 miles east of I-5. The good news is that campground is located in a rural area with a wonderful setting along the Klamath River. So if you are fishing or floating the river there is an activity to keep you occupied. Otherwise, because of the rural location there is not a lot to see and do. Sometimes this is a good thing, but we prefer to have a town or hiking trails nearby. We had neither here so we felt isolated and bored at times. The wild horses were a treat to see. They frequently roam around the campground.

The staff are working from 6:00 AM until evening to keep the park clean. The hosts and maintenance crew really work hard at keeping this place in excellent condition.

The sites are concrete with most sites facing the river. There is no vegetation between sites for privacy but there was adequate spacing between sites. We did not have a Verizon signal in the campground. The free campground WiFi provides 1 Mbps download speed. We paid$12.00 for one week of upgraded WiFi which provides 3 Mbps download.

Immaculate!

Such a nice RV Park. Huge concrete pads for large RVs and pop-outs. There are clean and open bathrooms for people to use, if needed. River access for fishing or tubing as well. Hosts were great and super friendly. They also provide a shuttle for tubing upstream, and have some goods available for sale (ice, ice cream, frozen meat, eggs, etc).
