About
Burn ban started July 15th 2023!!!
Self contained vehicles/small AWD, tents ok! (Room for multiple) However, there is no bathroom on property so small campers need to be self contained. There is a public restroom 3 minutes South in the Neskowin village! Outdoor showers provided for the surfers at the Pelican Brewery in Pacific City (8 min. North). All wheel drive strongly suggested and required when wet, especially in the winter/spring.

Secluded 5 acre Forested Ocean view property surrounded by a lush alder, elderberry, and sitka spruce. Located 2 miles North of Neskowin beach, 350' ft above sea level, well out of theTsunami zone, At the SUBLIME site ONLY, spring water flows just above camp & there is a small loop trail to walk in the forest from campsite.
Cross the large green metal bridge, turn in at gate with the Namaste sign! After arriving at camp be sure to check out the approx. 280 yr. old octopus like Sitka Spruce just before the turn heading back down the hill you came up, go to the west side to see it's branches stacking up on each other as big as some trees!
For things to do nearby… To the South… ~ Cascade Head, 15 minutes south off of 3 rocks road, you will find an amazing hike with mature forest and stunning ocean views! Follow the signs, near Knight park.
~ Driftcreek Falls- Off the ocean but worth the trip! Suspension bridge easy 3 mile RT trail. Access from HWY 18, leave Looping around into Lincoln City for dinner perhaps?
~Roads End- Lincoln City, my favorite beach at low tide for tide pools and walking around the rocks to the north to see the monolithic Rocks in the ocean and 2 caves. ~That's mostly it for hiking but Broiler Bay, south of Lincoln city is a great viewpoint and whale spotting site. ~Depoe Bay as well!
~ Devil's Punchbowl, hike to the bottom at low tide and check out the tide pools!
~ Yaquina Lighthouse and cobble beach are nice stops in Newport as well as the Bay Front and Nye Beach. To the north…
~ Cape Lookout 3 fabulous trails about 5 miles round trip each, through beautiful forest and revealing breathtaking views of the coastline. The center trail is the flattest, the other two are much steeper and take you down to the beach. There is a pretty sweet surf spot at the end of the South trail.
~ Munson Falls- South of Tillamook, only 1/2 mile RT, not far off Hwy 101. Beautiful in the Fall with the changing leaves of the Canadian Maples but really it's lovely always =) Watch out for the potholes!
~Cape Meares Lighthouse. Take the scenic byway through Pacific city towards 3 capes scenic drive. There you will also find Oregon's largest Sitka Spruce tree, 45 feet in circumference!

Great spot. More amenities would make it amazing spot.
Ended up staying here (Light site) for 3 nights after my group had to make a last second pivot with smoke in Central Oregon. We were super happy with the location and privacy of the site (quick 15 minute drives to Pacific City/Lincoln City or 5 minute drive to Neskowin).
We ran into a bit of confusion booking through the Dyrt as it wasn’t clear what the difference was between Light site and Sublime site (Hipcamp clearly shows the difference btw). The difference is that Sublime is a pretty open plot of land with plenty of room to run and explore whereas Light site is a narrow 15x80’ strip of land on the side of a hill. It sounds lame, but it actually worked out well. A lot of the exploring areas on the property described on the Dyrt seem only to apply to Sublime site. Also, The Dyrt makes it seem as if pets are allowed on the whole property, but apparently they are only allowed on Sublime. So if your booking through Dyrt, check out the Hipcamp description of sites to make sure you are getting what you want.
My biggest quibble is that while this ended up being a great site, we probably will only come back here in a pinch because the price is nearly 4x what you would end up paying at a public campground and there is no water, trash, or bathroom services included in this price. We had a large group and there is a surcharge of $5/person/night (including kids) over the base (2adults/2kids)…so we ended up paying $270 for 3 nights. In comparison, the campsite in Central Oregon that we cancelled due to smoke was $60 for all three nights.
In summary. This is a great spot, but the price is bloated for what you get (especially for larger groups).

Thank you for you feedback Aaron.
I'm also frustrated with the Dyrt's website as it was confusing for you and has been for others. On our end it seems more clear, you click on the site and it shows what is offered and what isn't.
I'm sorry you were disappointed about the price. I made a big exception for allowing your large group because of your circumstances. We are sure to give that site plenty of privacy which changes what and where we can be and do on property so you are paying for that extra space, tranquility, and privacy, unlike public campgrounds where there are people and noise everywhere you look. I understand you find it overpriced, however for the coast, I found it to be comparable to similar accommodations. I also gave you a discount, normally $8 each person over 2 adults and 2 kids because of the size of your group. Working out to be $7.50 a person a night.
I really take reviews to heart and feel disappointed by your 4 star review because we do work very hard to maintain the land and the road and try to set the expectations as well as possible so everyone is clear about what they are paying for before they stay. Camping publicly just isn't comparable to camping on someones private land. The Light Site is less cost than the Sublime exactly for the reasons you stated.
We allowed 8 more guests and 2 more vehicles over our maximum which leads to more noise and wear and tear on the land... I understand you didn't see that pets weren't allowed, however, allowing a dog to roam freely off site, up to our home put our cat in stress and danger... so, 4 star camper ;)
We hope the fires are contained!
Namaste,
Jessica
Absolutely private safe and beautiful with everything you need for camping
The hosts were great, and the location was absolutely beautiful. We had beautiful sunsets skies filled with stars, and even 17 elk visiting in the field next door. Highly recommend.

Perfect & Serene
Such an incredible spot near Neskowin beach, which is a gem of a natural area. This camp site is so well curated - it has a perfectly level area for campers & tents, a little stream in the back with fresh water, a fire pit, soft grass & mossy trees, and an absolutely incredible view of the ocean. The drive up to it is a little steep and winding so I would recommend making sure you have an all wheel vehicle. The stewards of this spot are awesome, easy, and responsive. Absolutely planning on staying here again whenever I can. Thank you so very much!!!
