Management Was Very Particular - Borderline Discriminatory Behavior

We were treated in a discriminatory manner by the upper management. We felt extremely let down by how they behaved, since the main office worker, Jackie, had been very nice & professional.

Miranda, on the other hand,.. I do not recommend doing business with her. She looked down her nose at our RV, even though it is in great shape, only requiring a couple of easy updates that we had already explained how we were planning on dates to accomplish said updates.

Especially since, as you peruse the park, you see Multiple campers in violation of posted park rules, and much older & crummier looking RVs than we own, in much worse disrepair. Also, when Miranda called to deny us the spot, she began our phone call in a deceitful way, in fact lining me up to level the blow of rejection. Miranda is not kind at all, and treated my husband & I unfairly. We do Not recommend staying here.

Enjoyed the rustic cabin!

Wanting to avoid the wildfire smoke in September, we headed to the coast in search of fresher air.  With rain in the forecast, we opted to stay in one of the cute rustic cabins at Kampers West RV Park. The front desk staff were welcoming when we arrived.  The cabin was basic but comfortable the night. It had a full bed and bunk bed, table, chair and heater.  Kampers West is conveniently located near Fort Stevens State Park and Lewis and Clark National Historical Park / Fort Clatsop and the The Fort To Sea Trail hiking in Warrenton.

Clam digging camping!

We’ve stayed here many times and if you’re planning to fish, crab, or dig clams at the coast this is the best place! They have a wonderful cleaning station, clean hot showers and RV and tent sites as well as a few small cabins. The tent sites are all on grass and back up to a stream. They even have a little camp store where we bought flour and seasonings to fry our clams at camp!

Quick Stop

We were thrilled to find this campsite ⛺last minute. Driving🚘 up from California we hoped to visit Fort Steven's State Park 🏞but found all the campgrounds full. Luckily we stumbled upon this RV 🚐park. While there was only a few tent sites, the shower was warm and it was a place to sleep for the night. Glad we were able to find this place and still visit the beach!
