Columbia Shores RV Resort by KM Resorts is located in Chinook, Washington. Conveniently located on Hwy 101, approximately 5 miles from the Ilwaco Long Beach area and 4 miles from Astoria Bridge. Columbia Shores offers 72 partial sites, and one rental for our members to rent. This RV Resort is a true fishing camp-featuring salmon and sturgeon fishing plus crabbing and more, right at the mouth of the Columbia River. There is currently no sewer or dump station.

Great spot near the beach

This is a cute spot with beautiful green grass. Very well kept for the small place that it is. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot. Each spot has a picnic table and electric available. The caretaker is very attentive and easy to find if you need something.

Basic and tight

We stayed here for a night on our way to Olympic National Park. This is a KM membership campground but as RPI members we can stay here for $10 / night. I think this is primarily a spot for campers who use this as a base for fishing and boating. It’s not a destination campground, but is an easy stop for an overnight stay.

Pros:

Easy to find, right off Hwy 101
Cute coffee shop across the street
Very close to beautiful and interesting Fort Columbia State Park
The guy who runs the park is very friendly and helpful. We needed a site last minute and he helped us out
