Four miles off Highway 101, Edson Creek Camping sits on Bureau of Land Management property in an open field configuration with individual sites positioned along Edson Creek. Campers can hear the creek from their sites and walk to the water, though it remains out of direct view. The facility operates on a first-come, first-serve basis at $16 per night, providing picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, and trash service.
Cell service does not reach the campground, but the open terrain accommodates satellite internet and solar panel setups well. Many visitors arrive with kayaks and paddleboards, indicating water access for recreation. The no-pets policy distinguishes this BLM campground from typical public land camping. Firewood is available on-site for evening campfires.
