While the park is set on a lake in a beautiful setting, the bathroom & shower facilities needed to be cleaned better or more often. The beach was nice. Very relaxing.

We spent four nights here in the heat of the summer. The lake has a great swimming beach area - this seems to be a fishing lake, only a few jet skis were out besides fishing boats. Sandy bottom lake near swim beach. The sites are well shaded, but very narrow. The bathrooms left something to be…

We stayed at site 31. It was on the side with the bluffs. Beautiful sunset overlooking the lake. Trees separated us from the next campsites. It's very primitive so bring plenty of water.

The north and south sides of the lake have always been a great place for anything from adventure to relaxation, grilling, boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking/riding trails and quaint enough for a good book or catching up on some studying...
Looking for a nature centric camping experience? This isn’t your place.
Need a place convenient to the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie or Edmond to base out of of? This could be your spot.
Need an easy on/off overnight spot in central Oklahoma? This could work for that, too.
Not scenic, but clean, level…

Only Green Country loop was open when we started out, but others opened once we got there. Nice level sites, concrete pad with full hook up. Good ATT & Verizon service. Did not try OTA TV. Pretty convient to 44 which made for a great night over. Might return for a lnonger stay.
Called and made phone reservation 3-1/2 months in advance. Half an hour later we got online, and found reviews saying people were having their cars broken into, and other things that made us uncomfortable. We called back and were told that deposits are non-refundable, and that that information is…
Beautiful park surrounded by magnificent cedar trees and a fishing pond. Showers and laundry are well kept. They have a cute little General Store with vending and items to buy. Owner is so friendly and Helpful.
I live a short drive away in Tulsa, but when hunting season started, this is where I stayed on the weekends. Lots of WMA land to be explored, the park is nice and quiet with beautiful surroundings and a smaller, peaceful lake to enjoy.
Showers and laundry were not 24 hours
I was practically surrounded by water. Deer, beavers, armadillo, birds! There are many different campground areas, I stayed in Pine Grove. Bathrooms were old but not too dirty. They were heated very well. Several dump stations. Friendly staff.
A nice state park with lots of services. A full marina, a little restaurant on the dock. Full hook up camping is available throughout the year. Close to a small town with shopping, fuel, and a couple great restaurants.
This place was further off the beaten path than expected and was a beautiful location. I camped in late November so water was shut off but electric worked well. Bathrooms were pretty gross and the facilities in general just felt fairly decrepit. All that said, I'm a sucker for waterfront camping…
We decided to give this place a try and are so glqd we did! It's a nice little campground with maybe 10 pull-through spots long enough to accommodate most, if not all. Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer available. The spots are spaced close together with about a 4 ft median of grass…

I have not camped here but go often for the lake. There are different areas to camp. The ones by the main swimming area aren’t private at all and are usually pretty full. The ones before the dam are more spread out. We love this little lake bc the swimming area rarely has people there and it’s a…
