Great stay

Campground has many things to do for the Littles. I would recommend renting the “off road” golf cart for fun. The only negative is the lack of bath houses. Although we have a full bathroom in our camper we typically use the showers at the campgrounds. There were only 2 bathhouses in the campground. Our site was well shaded and enough space between the sites.

Worst to deal with

My family planned a trip here, including our camper and 2 others. (3 sites total). Our camper needed work done and due to an unexpected sudden death in the family, taking the camper to be worked on 2 weeks prior to our planned visit was our only option. We called and explained the situation we were in and was spoken to VERY rudely. And was not able to get any of our money back. If there’s a possibility that you may have an unplanned death in the family that may complicate your trip, don’t book with them! We will NEVER plan another trip here!!

Lots or activities, nice ponds

Great campground that seems to be expanding and Improving. Bathrooms are excellent. Wifi and cell signal are great. Minutes to the zoo.

Tent Camping with 2 kids!

Absolutely had a blast and met another great family here! Me and my kids camp via Tent there. Amenities available were: General Store, Pool, Gaga Ball, Bouncing Pillow, Bath House by the pool, fishing pond laser tag, and a bunch of activities. They were building a big play ground when we were leaving. We were 15 mins from the zoo which was amazing. Your close to stores and restaurants if you want but far enough out that it doesn’t feel close.

Asheboro Jellystone

This is a great family campground. They have activities all day for the kids and family. They are still under construction but you can’t tell. Very spacious with plenty of activities and room for kids.

Excellent Work In Progress

We had booked a site at a nearby Asheboro campground, but when we arrived it was awful and we decided not to stay. I got on the phone with Jellystone, and they were very accommodating. We were able to make a reservation for the week and we checked-in about 30 minutes later.

The park is being expanded, but the construction did not bother us at all because we could hardly hear anything going on and there wasn't a lot of construction equipment activity to interfere with our camping experience.

WiFi at this park is outstanding, over the air TV reception is good, and the laundry facility was excellent & cheap...$1.75 per load to wash & $1.00 to dry. 

If you are travelling with children, this is a perfect place to camp because there is so much to do. In particular the pool area was really nice.

I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had other things to do and see. We were completely satisfied with our camping experience and we will definitely return to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park the next time we are in Asheboro.

Nice campground if you have kids

Nice, quiet campground that has lots of things for the kids to do. Looking forward to the expansion to be completed and to see the entire campground up and running.

Great campground in the making

This campground has plenty of room to park and activities to do. The staff is great and the owner is open to suggestions to make this campground great. The only complaint I have of this campground is that some of the sites have some some tricky slopes. Took some time leveling my rig, but turned out great. You will love this campground and is definitely worth a stop.

Asheboro Jellystone

A newer campground with only a handful of sites but the kids enjoyed it. A lot of planned kids activities almost like summer camp. Full hookup.
