Hookup availability: Emberglow Outdoor Resort provides full-service sites. "We had a absolutely wonderful time in our RV at Emberglow. Highway noise considerations: When staying at Asheville West KOA, be prepared for traffic sounds. "The only reason for the four star rating is due to the highway noise from I-40, which is located adjacent to the campground. Otherwise, the campground is very well-kept with friendly staff and our site (deluxe pull-through with patio) was large and mostly level," Crystal C. advises. Request sites furthest from the highway when making reservations.

Dump station access: Davidson River Campground has limited waste disposal facilities. "I rated a 4 star because the dump site is very tight, and lacking. That was the only thing on this campground I feel needed some work," notes Amurican L. RVers should plan accordingly for waste management, especially during busy periods.
