Great Experience

This is a great campground with very reasonable prices. All concrete sites with 20, 30, and 50 amp service. Gated and safe. As soon as a camper pulls out, they pressure wash every site as needed. Hand clean the power boxes and sanitize the tables.

Quiet, clean, nice location

We were there with 2 other couples when tropical storm Elsa came. They cleaned up some tree limbs and debris shortly after the winds subsided. We had a nice week. We were next to an airport and enjoyed watching small aircraft. I videoed planes dropping banners. Pool was clean and had nice loungers…

By far…the BEST!!

This is our 3rd time visiting CP and we have enjoyed every minute. The campground is very clean, the staff is always friendly and the amenities are amazing. Do yourself a favor and swing by CP; you won’t regret it.

Passing thru

Nice place, open layout with a nice pool and great bath house. Right off interstate so there was some noise but not as bad as others. No potholes for trucks to hit all night.

Always a weiner at SOB

Nice and clean campground. Very family friendly. Great ice cream shop. Fun shopping. Not much privacy is the only draw back. Great place to stop with or without children.

Hidden gem

Small, but really nice. A lot of sites right on the water. Lots of trees, really quiet. Nice boardwalk and nature trails nearby, with rental gear available.

Not much around the campground though. If you want peace and quiet, and don't need shopping or touristy stuff- this is for you.

Campground at a Tourist Destination

South of the Border is a tourist trap, but I don’t mean that in a bad way. There are lots of things to do, and more ways to spend your money, including souvenir shops, a fireworks store, Christmas decorations, and more. If you are in the area or passing by on the interstate, it is a must see, even…

Actually 4.8 Stars

Spent the week before Memorial Day and Memorial Weekend at Carrollwoods. This is really a nice campground. The sites are well-spaced with a picnic table, fire pit and grill at each site. There’s a pool that was unfortunately out of service during most of our visit there during the 90-degree heat.…

Crowded

Camper van Site 34, Outer loop. Water only
Bathroom clean, but Grade C.
Great walking trails. Just too crowded with sites, especially the inner loop, on top of each other. Lots of kids on bikes. The roads in were no problem.

Great location

We decided to rent a permanent spot but aren't putting a deck on or anything like others as we plan to pull the camper out from time to time to travel. Yes, there are some rundown campers and lots of permanent residence but overall it's a great little place. There are plenty of spots for visitors…
