Several RV parks surround Greenville, North Carolina with varying amenities and site configurations. Twin Lakes Resort in Chocowinity offers full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer connections year-round. Whispering Oaks RV Resort provides big-rig friendly pull-through sites with 30/50-amp service. Treeside RV Park features 51 sites with electric hookups, including both 50-amp and 30-amp options. The sites at Dixon Landing RV Resort include 40 pull-through spaces with gravel pads that may require leveling blocks. "Sites are level and the water and power were well maintained, clean and easy to access. The sewer hook-up, on the other hand was not ideal, as the pipe was nearly touching the leg of our neighbor's picnic table," noted one visitor.

Most RV parks in the area remain open year-round, though availability tightens during fall and winter months when snowbirds travel through the region. Cell service varies significantly between locations, with Treeside offering strong coverage while Dixon Landing reports limited connectivity except for AT&T users. Dump stations are available at most parks, though some smaller facilities like Contentnea Creekside RV Park provide this service without other amenities. Pet policies generally allow dogs with standard restrictions, and many parks feature fenced dog areas. According to one camper, "There are large open areas to walk the pups and a decent sized dog run so they can get exercise." Propane service is limited, with only Twin Lakes and The Lakes RV Resort offering on-site refills.

      Cabin Lake County Park

      Cabin Lake is a 4/5

Small camp well kept trail around the lake with multiple docks. Sites some are small van size only (#8)others can accommodate 20-30 foot rigs. Bathhouses close could use a paint job and a little better cleaning but acceptable

      Magnolia Lane Campground

      Peaceful and relaxing

Me and my family love camping, we try to go 15 to 20 times a year, we have been patronizing a very reputable campground for the last 15 years, due to management issues, we decided to seek out other campgrounds. We found magnolia lane and tried it for one weekend. Fell in love with it. Very peaceful. Very friendly and everything in the campground is what met our standards, we have now made magnolia Lanes are permanent campsite. We try to come here every chance we get! We enjoy the natural scenery, swim in the lake, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of campers and management. We don't slander this campground due to the extent of they are a family-owned campground. They are small but they do everything they possibly can to make you feel at home. The rates are amazing compared to other campgrounds, the only thing that I wish for is that I was retired and can come every single weekend. Other than that, there's nothing else I could ask for and everything is spot on. Thank you magnolia campgrounds for what you do for us as a family, and what you put forth to make us feel at home!

Campsite at Wallace Meadows Farm / RV site at Wallace Meadows Farm

No longer a campsite, don't book

My first experience with Dyrt. Did instant book. Day before arrival I still had not received full details. I emailed the contact info listed. Day of I called the contact phone number to get check in time, site number, etc. He answered (Rich). Very nice man. Said they sold the farm over a year ago. There was no campsite. I have been emailing and messaging Dyrt with no response regarding a refund. Do not instant book.

      Magnolia Lane Campground

      Quiet Campgound

Clean and well-maintained. It has a small lake with a swimming beach and some nice walking trails. Great for the crowd that is interested in the more natural style of camping as opposed to places like KOA.

      Magnolia Lane Campground

      Great little get away

We have been several times last year and once this year. Definitely intend to go back. We love the shade and the lake for swimming and kayaking. Last time we went, the kayaks had been left in the lake and were upside down. After speaking with the owners, they came within an hour or two and use their boat to pull the kayaks and paddle boats back to shore. Love the fact I can do laundry before I leave so I don’t have that to do once I get back home. It is Coin operated. Family oriented and quiet.

      Magnolia Lane Campground

      Great Campground

This is a great little quiet getaway campground! Peaceful yet close to grocery stores, shopping and the beach! There’s a water hole for swimming and kayaking. Check in is easy and owners live close by and are quick to respond to any issues. This is a plus for us!! Lots of shaded lots too!

      WNC Kampers Lodge Of America

LOVELY grounds, but full sun & highway

Beautifully kept park with a great jungle gym (12 year old approved!) sweet donkeys, a CLEAN dog park, the pool was not crowded at all despite beautiful weather.

The only downsides are most of the spots are full sun, and it’s directly in view of the highway.
