Cane Creek Campground and RV Park

Reservations are available year-round at Cane Creek Campground and RV Park, a drive-in facility in Snow Camp, North Carolina that accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. A dump station and WiFi round out the utility side, and the bathhouses are consistently noted as clean, though one reviewer flagged some spider activity. Cell service has come up as a variable in multiple reviews, so campers relying on connectivity may want to plan accordingly.

Site selection matters here. The 40s sites draw the most interest from visitors who want lake views and water access, while sites like number 17 sit across from annual-lease spots, which can reduce privacy depending on neighbors. Three playgrounds give families with kids built-in activity. Dimitry A. describes it as "located close to nothing else," which sets expectations for the rural surroundings accurately.

The campground sits near a creek and includes hiking trails, fishing, and open-air space across a wooded setting. Pets are allowed. Campers in the region also have options at Simple Times RV Park & Campground to the northwest or Liberty Acres RV Park & Campground to the south, useful context for those planning multi-stop trips or looking at campgrounds near Snow Camp more broadly. Cane Creek tends to work best for families and self-contained RV travelers who want full hookups in a rural, wooded setting without needing nearby town access.

Great family campground!

Plenty of places to tent camp or RV camp! Places to fish things for kids to play on and of course places to shower after! One of my family’s favorite places to camp!

Experienced travel

The campground is very cramped and the owner is very unfriendly and was unwilling to work with me after I asked not to park my fifth wheel under a hickory tree that was rubbing the top of my recently recoated roof. She refused. Roughly 7weeks into my 13 week stay a large storm rolled through and a hickory nut busted the top of my ac unit on my roof and the nut broke the blades of my fan off. She refused to acknowledge the damage. I tried to compromise with taking the price of the service of the monthly payment. The owner refused then stated she was going to need the next month payment or she would have my fifth towed. She is very unreasonable and very rude

Nice woodsy spot!

Beautiful little park nestled into the woods! Our site (17) was on the opposite side of the real lake access and right across from the annual spots so we never really had too much privacy but most of the neighbors were very curteous and friendly. The 40s sites seem to be the best spots to get for a view or access to Lake activities. There are 3 parks which kiddo had a great time making friends at. The bathhouses were very clean-if a little spidery for me (eek!), and both in pretty convenient locations for everyone.
