Clean facilities: Cabin rental locations maintain regular cleaning schedules. "The bathrooms were the cleanest campground bathrooms and showers i've experienced (no bugs or webs also) and there was a dishwashing station on the side," notes Erin B. about Clarksburg State Park.
Pet-friendly options: Woodford State Park Campground welcomes dogs in most areas. "The park has a nice grassy area on the water that's dog-friendly, and a separate little no-dog swimming and paddle boat area," reports a visitor identified as B, who adds that "Trails were pretty enough if basic."

Playground access: Multiple cabin locations feature play areas. "There is a nice little dog park fenced in area for my dog to run around in. The kids/teens were typical kids/teens and did get a little rowdy/noisy but it wasn't anything excessive and quiet hours seemed to be well respected," reports Brandilyn W. from Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run.

"If we stay in the same site again we would come better prepared," notes Lauren about Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run, explaining "Our site was large and shaded. The draw back is where you need to park the camper is about 7 inches out of level."
Off-season advantages: Alpine Lake RV Resort offers less crowded conditions outside peak times. "We were pleasantly surprised with our weekend getaway to Clarksburg State Park. Nestled in the Berkshires and basically walking distance to Vermont, Clarksburg State Park provides a comfortable and semi-private tent site," shares Erin B., describing a September visit when the campground was less crowded.
Road conditions: Interior roads at campgrounds may be challenging for larger rigs. "All of the sites are pull through so no worries about backing in," explains Brandilyn W. about Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run, noting this feature makes navigation easier for first-time RVers.
