Peaceful!

This is my go-to campground when I need to relax and reflect. Beautiful lakeside sites and always a cool breeze from Lake Ontario. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Will be nice when it’s sorted out

Association Island is a great prospect, a failed KOA recently acquired by Sun Outdoors who are clearly struggling to get it up to scratch. We stayed three nights. The internet was down for 24 hours, there was no hot water in the showers because we were told the propane had run out, the laundry…

Great location if you time it right

First thing about Cranberry Lake: the staff are wonderful. We arrived when the check in staff had the day off. Not a problem we only needed wood which was available just down the street from the campground. No need, the ranger, who let us know the overworked staff was off, brought it to our site…

So much to do!

We loved camping here. There were many things to do for kids but also adults. They have pontoon and kayak rentals. Golf cart rentals. Cool bikes for kids. They had a little farmers market on the Saturday which was great. Sites can feel a little packed and we couldn’t see fireworks from the…

Nice place

Everything about this place is nice. Sites are large and staff is nice. It was great to have two pools and a bar. Things I would change. Make River sites hookup for TT’s, add cable TV, and pave the rest of the campground.

Idk

Wanted to like it but it feels too crowded and overused. Is this a man made lake? Not bad fishing and plenty of convenienves but couldnt launch our kayaks from our premium watersite. Definitely not worth the price.

Great weekend

We stayed through this weekend and had a great time and got to see some awesome sunsets. It was a little bit of a walk to get water but we were tent camping so we didn’t really mind. Our site had electric hook ups which we really didn’t need being in a tent but it was nice for charging our…

Nice location, for tons of atving!

Never been up here before, a friend found this place for our lil group. They currently have 4 sites and a cabin, 30 amp electric, water to fill your tank, and a dump station. But like I said the best part is the riding and close to several local bar/restaurants that have good food and good folks.…

Quiet and large sites

We spent 4 nights here in our 27 ft toy hauler with 2 dogs. Sites were roomy and many are seasonal. As we were there during the week, it was incredibly quiet with few people. The lake linked to a river was great for kayaking and fishing. We arrived at night and they had left everything for us…

Beautiful lake if you can see it

This is a Great Lake for kayaking, clear and calm, lots of nooks and crannies to explore. And if you can get a lakeside site, you can launch from your site, enjoy the beautiful sunsets, watch the ducks...but if you aren’t lucky (or early) enough to get a lake site, forget it. There is one narrow…

Need a boat

I came here a couple days ago only to realize that all except one campsite needs a boat to be reached. It's first come first serve so best to find another place if you intend to drive up to your campsite. The drive up campsite had an outhouse though so that was nice

Overall good experience

The site was good size and included a picnic table and a fire ring. Site however was very close to other sites and not very private. had to pay with quarters to shower not a problem but inconvenient. Site was very close to water and boat launch and that was great.
