Decent Spot. ~20 min to White Sands NP

Spent the night in the back left section of the parking lot. There were a few campers and RVs staying the night as well. Not the best sleep as random pickup trucks would speed through the lot. Woke up to a homeless man screaming and yelling in the distance.

Convient/safe

Stayed for 1 night when traveling between Guadeloupe Mountain National Park and White Sands National Park. I always worry about safety.... however, did not have any concerns here. There were about 6 of us near outside of parking lot. We parked in regular spot (in sprinter van). ByThe other campers were in larger campers..... plenty of room. If back in this area we would stay again.
