Nice!

Well maintained, relatively quiet location off from main roads. Sites are a little close but are gravel and pretty level. If you don't need hookups, there are some beautiful sites down by the river with a lot of shade. There is some shade in the main area. Just down the street from Aztec Ruins, which I highly recommend. Nothing fancy, but owner is very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Last Minute Laborday Stay

Called on a Friday afternoon. Labor Day weekend for a 1 night stay. She had 1 site left and took my name. Site was level clean gravel. She also walked out to site to make sure we understood hookups. Friendly and helpful. Site was quiet. We would stay there any time we’re in the area. Was $30. Full hookups 30 amp service.

Quiet

We are traveling with a young, very timid dog so asked for a large space. She gave us an end space with no shade and no grass; however, we have a nice view of the trees along the Animas River and are a short distance from the river. Lots of long term RVs, but their spaces are well maintained. Good gravel throughout the RV Park, nice level spaces. They take cash or check only. No tables, fire rings, restrooms/showers, but full hookups. Easy access, and we had no issues with road noise.

Pretty nice

Full hookups and good shade. Not expensive, but cash or check only. Friendly folks. Some semi-distant road noise, but not terrible. Close to the nice Animas River!
