Best Glamping near Santa Fe, NM

Very friendly and helpful hosts. About 19 miles from downtown Santa Fe. Our site was across from bathhouse which was pull through and level. Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed this place. Perfect for some sightseeing, hiking, and close enough to Santa Fe/Taos if you want to visit those cities (about an hour drive to either). Lots of stars & quiet at night.

Stayed here for a week with the family close to Santa Fe and Pecos national forest. Managers very friendly and can be quite entertaining if you hang around for a bit. Spaces are a bit tight if you have slide outs. Great place to stay and relax.

Very nice people, clean restrooms and laundromat, level gravel sites. Easy access to Santa Fe. No pool. Campground was full when we wanted to stay an extra night, so they offered a space for boondocking, which was a nice surprise. No cell reception on Verizon. Slow limited internet.

Great base camp for checking out SF. Planned on 2 day stay, ended up staying 6. Bike trails are close and awesome. Friendly staff and guests. Best place in the city to stay. Only negative is the Cerrillos road race track noise. Santa Fe locals like loud and fast rides.

Great location just outside of Santa Fe, super easy to get to off of I-25. Bathrooms are clean and showers are comfortable. Everything is well maintained and the dog park is a massive plus if you have pups. There’s a little road noise, but not bad, and definitely worth it for ease of use. Would recommend!

Nice campground with creekside sites.  Sites are a bit close together but could be worse, it certainly helps to get there early to pick the best site.  Close to town and not far out of Santa Fe.  Downsides are that it is pretty popular and people don's seem to want to haul their trash out so lots of broke bottles around.  Road to get there is potholed but passable by smaller vehicles.

First longer stop (3 nights) on our cross country trip. 22 ft trailer, sewer hook ups, Koa worker leads you to your spot, which was nice. Fence between campsites gives some privacy. Great dog park area and playground for 2 yr old. Everyone we interacted with was nice and helpful. Laundry is clean: $3 washer, $1.59 dryer— need 2 runs on the dryer. 18 minute drive into downtown Santa Fe. Did the grasshopper canyon trail 9 minutes away, pecos national historic monument 30 minutes and Bandelier national monument 50 minutes.

KOA Journey in Santa Fe was very quite nice. They have a very nice game room, each RV space had some privacy or a private fenced in yard or patio. Some of the spots were a little tight once you get your slides out, but since we were staying only one night, it didn’t bother us. I though it was a little pricey, but I generally think KOAs are overpriced. I really liked the location and would love to have stayed longer. The Wi-Fi was excellent. They have great full hook ups and laundry room and bath houses. The office had a nice supply shop as well.

I stayed at a camping cabin. I’d been car camping for a month and had stayed at a camping cabin at las cruces Koa and loved it. This cabin has a heater that was not able to keep the cabin warm - it was really cold maybe 15 at night and I could not get rid of a chill all night even though I was bundled up. Then in the morning I went to close the door and the door handle broke locking me out. Luckily I had my dog and car keys but no one was in office yet and it was bitter cold. They let me cancel my next night and did offer a free night but didn’t refund the money I spent. Loved Santa Fe tho the food and coffee are Amazing!!!

This campground is just above 8200ft in the forest, more specifically in the Santa Fe National Forest at the edge of the Pecos Wilderness. We stayed at site 3, more or less right next to the creek. Site 2 was just as pretty and a bit larger, but not quite as shaded. No matter the site, the area is green, peaceful, and cool.

It is gorgeous up there, but be aware that the road is really narrow and, though paved, in terrible condition with HUGE pot holes en masse, so it is slow going, particularly with a camping trailer. We have a 22' trailer and we saw only one other, maybe 25', which I think is likely pushing the limits.

It's a bit of a tense drive for the 3 miles along Holy Ghost Canyon, but well worth the effort! We camped at Holy Ghost Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My husband had the great idea of tent camping just the two of us. Up to this point our tent camping adventures were reserved for grandbaby time. But I said What the hey! Let's do it. I wanted somewhere cooler than home. The Santa Fe area had plenty to keep us busy for the week.

We did not get a tent spot but opted for a small trailer site with electric and water. Our spot was near the bathhouse but not too close. Each site has native trees and plants, so everyone has privacy. The site had a nice flat spot for the tent, picnic table, fire pit and grill. We had more than enough room to set up our awning for a dining area. We loved our little spot for the week.

The bathhouse was clean and very nice. New tile and fixtures. It was a little small for the size of the campground.

They have plenty of activities there for everyone and in the evening it is very quiet.

Pecos national forest is by far one of the best places to camp in northern New Mexico. Great fishing, amazing hiking and views for days.

The campgrounds is nicely laid out and decent. There isn't much for shade or privacy. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are nice trails that you can hike or mountain bike. Some are near cliff edges and not for the beginners. The lake is nice for New Mexico and sees a lot of use. Didn't get a chance to fish or get to the waters edge this trip. The area is near where Georgia O'Keefe lived and did some of her work.

Great location with immaculate grounds. Staff are friendly and other than a little road noise very peaceful.

The place was clean. Our issues were two.

1. The strong smell of marijuana is due to their neighborhood store that makes and sells the stuff.
2. Only pay for 2 days at a time or know your time period. We had bad weather approaching and they did not seem to care about our safety but only their policy. The people next to us had the same issue. WiFi is weak but cell was ok not great.

Park was nice. Sites were large and level. Only downside for us was located in middle of town and road noise was bad.

Amazing site! Photos to follow. It is a bit pricey for the upgrade but totally worth it. I am here to do some work, so privacy was necessary. Laundry room and machines are excellent and CLEAN. Bathrooms too :) Bathrooms are really the most important. You absolutely must be here by 5pm as they close at 5:30pm. No kids. For those of you who are curious. People were helpful and friendly. Plus, only 4 miles from historic downtown. Close to the bike path and grocery stores. Very convenient. Very clean. Very friendly.
