Last minute reservation traveling from Yosemite-Tule Lake. Easy access off 40. Carla was very accommodating offering one of the 2 shaded lots available for our dogs sake as it was 92. Very Clean & quiet.

    Davis Camp Bullhead City AZ

Spent 4 days here last month and going back next week. Great place to stay during the off season when not crowded. There are 8 spaces with a river view but only have water and electric. Used the park showers to keep from filling our black tank. I do recommend this place.

    Camped right on the river

We stopped here on the way home as a 1 nighter.we stayed 3 days.ican see in summer or holiday weekends it could be a crazy busy place. We had a site right on the water and was mostly quiet. We were here mid-week in early may. So much fun. We rented PWCs just down river and parked them on the beach 20ft from our rv. The sites on the water are all dry sites and fcfs. Full hookups on the hill. Awesome views

    Snowbirding Rocks

We arrived after park hosting in Oregon for 4 months. Blue sky, sift breeze and 72 degrees greeted us. Carla at the desk is awesome. We had to reschedule our visit due to mechanical issues. She was very helpful. Mountains to the NE of us. They have a pool, cleaned regularly but not heated. I’m too much of a wimp for polar plunges. But my wife Sherri says she’ll go it later.

    Pool looks nice

The pool looks nice but it’s been too cold to check it out. I am not used to the desert so it’s hard for me to like this area. However the sites are flat and gravel and there is a decent laundry room. The bath house is dated but serviceable. For some reason my spot didn’t have a picnic table but it’s too windy to use anyways.

    River Camping

If you are looking to camp on the Colorado River and you find yourself in Laughlin, NV, then Davis Camp Park is a good option. The spot right on the water are first come first serve. There are plenty of hookup sites.

    There are showers

There is a jet ski rental place located at the campground.

    Cell: Great

    Davis Camp

Stayed in B loop, spaces were nice and wide. Some have lots of trees but some have nothing. Some of the spaces nearest the river have a good water view but some are blocked by vegetation. No river access unless you’re in the loop closest to the swim beach. The beaches were VERY crowded so we had to get to the water early to secure a spot. It was also really windy so be prepared. Park was quiet in the evenings and the bugs weren’t too bad.

    Needles KOA

    Deluxe campground, sweltering heat

This is my first time staying at a KOA campground. I'm impressed with how many amenities are provided: pool, laundry room, clubhouse, well-appointed bathroom, and a camp store with reasonable prices. My campsite is tidy and of a generous size. There are only a few shrubs for privacy, but the campground is practically empty so this isn't an issue today.

What is an issue today is the heat. As I write this at 10:11 at night, it is 100° F. When I arrived in Needles this afternoon, it was 114° F. The water that comes out of the spigots here is like bathwater. I started my day in L.A., where it was about 70° F. I knew it would be hotter inland, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I'll be breaking camp at dawn tomorrow and hurrying back into the air conditioned sanctuary of my car. This campground is probably much more pleasant in the winter.

    Katherine Landing South Campground

    Warm in winter

My trailer is a 31 ft tt somewhat windy but trees break up the wind. 24 a night, 12 with senior access. Decent size sites, clean bathroom showers. Verizon available but minimal Internet. Would come back. People stay up to 30 days.

Callville Bay RV Park — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Full hookups at a low price

As an alternative to the NPS campground across the road, this mobile home park has some full hookup RV spots in the rear of the mobile home park next to the laundry/restrooms. Note that the restrooms/showers are closed but laundry is open. Office staff said campers from the NPS campground can use the laundry. Cost for RV as of Feb 2022 was only $29.38 for full hookups. Only about 9-10 sites are available for RVs and reservations are required either online or in the office upstairs at the Callville Bay Store. No tents, no open fires, no wifi. However, cell signal is very good on Verizon, TMobile and ATT due to the cell antennas by the NPS water tanks above the NPS campground.

    Very quite

This campground is very quite but seems to have smaller sites than others. When entering there are few spots to accommodate bigger trailers although some spots you can see where the site has been extended into the dirt. I like the no generator section as it is super quite at night. Quite time starts at 10pm in other sections.

    Great Place to Camp!

Great experience. I arrived late at night and was still able to check in with a pay stub. Even though it’s mid/late November the weather was great! Just take a cool weather sleeping bag and you’ll be good.

This campground is reservable 15 days in advance, but if you missed that deadline, there is first come-first serve camping as well. There were many spots open when I came. When you get here, scout for a spot, remember your site number and license plate info, and then go back to pay at the pay stub center (at the entrance of the campground).

Its $20 a night to camp here. BRING CASH! :)

    No showers, just bathrooms.

Clean and LOTS of sites available

173 campsites available so even on a busy weekend there are places to stay. Large sites with trees in between. Clean bathrooms. Showers and laundry on site. Water available. Great T-mobile service, wifi available. If you are looking for a place to stay the night or a few days, this is recommended. $20/night or $10/night for seniors or access passes.

Not the best, not the worst

This place was okay. It was right next to the water and the mountains in the background were beautiful. Close to the city- so we unhooked the RV and for gas and picked up a few items. They have a Walmart, Sams Club and Home Depot within two miles away. Based on the street we were on, Bullhead City was a very sketchy place though and did not feel very safe. The campsite itself felt safe though. The campsite was too small and close to others for my liking. We have dogs who love to bark at other dogs and whenever they hear sounds, so we always prefer a lot of space. Our dogs love the water but there were too many other dogs and people around to let them off leash to be able to play. Important to know, there is a two dog limit. The neighbors had their music extremely loud until around 9pm and there are a lot of jet skis constantly whizzing by. So, overall, not the worst but wasn’t really for us.

    Every site has amazing views

This campsite is about 10 miles from the Boulder Campground and RV Village. All sites has prefect views of the surrounding mountains. All sites that are situated on the outer rim of the campground, be weary. Most have a good steep decline not to far away from the pavement. I would just be a little careful with kids or dogs. One section does not allow generators. They do have an on site dump station for rigs. No hookups though.
