Alum Creek Campground sits within Toiyabe National Forest in western Nevada, but campers should know upfront: flash flooding has washed out the established campground. What remains are two or three dispersed pullouts along the access road. High clearance is required. Trailers longer than roughly 12 feet will have serious difficulty navigating the route. No longer exists

This campground has been washed out by flash floods. The area is beautiful but no “campground” exists. There are 2-3 dispersed pullouts along the access but be forewarned if you attempt to reach this area in a vehicle without high clearance or with a trailer ( over maybe 12’ long) you will be sorely disappointed and in need of a tow.
