Description

Willow Springs Resort is located five miles south of Bridgeport, California, in the heart of the Eastern Sierra premiere outdoor recreational region. Although you’re sure to unplug with all there is to do around here, our guests have access to some of the best Wi-Fi in the area.

The facility is a small 50’s era motel and RV park with all the amenities one normally expects. We are a pet friendly facility. We love pets and welcome them in our RV park but not in our motel rooms.

Willow Springs Resort was built 60 years ago and is still owned and operated by the same family. That family prides itself on operating a quiet and clean vacation destination.

The fish at the left was caught in Virginia Creek, that is just across the highway from Willow Springs! There are a host of activities to enjoy in the "big backyard" of this Sierra Nevada paradise.

Whether you enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, swimming, 4-wheeling, or want to take a photo class or tour of Bodie Ghost Town, we have it all.

If you prefer to read a book or catch a falling star, meet new people and share stories at the campfire Willow Springs Resort welcomes you.

Very friendly family run campground

We have stayed at this campground several times and always enjoyed it.  It is a family-owned and run campground.  Every evening, campers sit around the main fire pit and enjoy the spirits and s'mores that are provided.  There is a place to keep horses, a small fishing pond, and just a very relaxing place.

The bathrooms are small but very clean and adequate.  However, if you plan on reading a book while you take care of business, it may be uncomfortable.

Clean, Cool & Comfortable

Willow Springs CG is top notch and friendly, plus the spaces have lovely rock borders with abundant Aspens all around. The management is 2nd generation owners and take pride in their RV park. The WiFi is reliable, too. Good access as it is directly on US-395 near Bridgeton CA. Very satisfied!

Nice family owned facility convenient to Bridgeport

General: 27-site RV park plus eight-room motel. Restrooms and laundry facility. Pets are allowed and the WiFi signal was decent.

Site Quality: All sites are gravel, back-in, and appeared level. A few in the rear of the park looked like they might be slightly skewed sideways. All are full hook-up, although we did not use the hookups. Our site (and several others) had nice birdhouses in the trees.

Bathhouse: Small but clean. Two stalls, one sink, and one shower. There is no additional cost to use the shower, but you are asked to keep it short to conserve water.

Activities: Close to the turn-off to Bodie State Park and also the town of Bridgeport. There is a horseshoe pit and large campfire area which I imagine would be in use during the summers when the park is full.

Be aware that you will hear road noise as this RV park is located on Highway 395, but it did quiet down later in the night. We normally do not stay in RV parks, but this was just an overnight for us and because there were only a few people there when we were there, our site felt more private. Becky, the owner, was very accommodating for our last-minute stay request.
