Yellowstone Edge RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting directly on the bank of the Yellowstone River outside Livingston, Yellowstone Edge RV Park draws a steady stream of travelers using it as a base for the region or a stop en route to Yellowstone National Park, roughly 90 minutes to the south. The park runs from May 1 through October 10 and fills quickly during summer months. Reservations are strongly recommended, and multiple reviewers report arriving to find the park at or near capacity.

River proximity is the defining feature here. The back-in sites along the south side of the office sit closest to the water, with some positioned roughly 15 feet from the river's edge, giving direct sightlines toward the Yellowstone and the mountain range beyond. Pull-through sites are also available. Sites on the river side tend to be the most sought after, and those that book late may end up with a drive-through slot positioned closer to the shower facilities and farther from the water. The park sits just off the highway, and some road noise carries, though several campers note it is less disruptive than expected.

Amenities are a consistent strength. Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer are available, along with a dump station. The bathhouse draws frequent praise for cleanliness, as does the laundry. The property also includes a game room, a gift shop, and a small store. "Full hookups, nice clean bathrooms, game room and little store that has everything," notes Barb N. WiFi is available but has drawn complaints about bandwidth. T-Mobile cell service has been reported as a more reliable alternative by at least one reviewer.

Tents are not permitted. The park is pet-friendly and has a communal fire ring, though individual fire pits are not standard at every site. Fishing access along the Yellowstone is a draw for anglers. The Paradise Fishing Access Site sits a short distance east for campers looking for additional water access along the river corridor. Those wanting a more dispersed experience might consider the Old Yellowstone Trail North Dispersed area on Montana State Trust Lands nearby.

Last Minute Option

Got into town after 6pm, wife & dog ready to settle in, had a drive thru slot near showers. Shower’s awesome, clean , camp sites less than 15 feet apart, no fire pit… Wi-Fi lacking… bandwidth issues… spinning wheel of death… T Mobile cell phone was better source

Awesome find

This is the best campground we have stayed at! The Staff are awesome, the fishing was great. Yellowstone north entrance was closed and we had a great time anyway. Beautiful part of the country.

Great site on the river!

First time staying in an RV park and using hookups, we typically dry camp....WOW this place is amazing!! The staff has been wonderful. Check in process was seamless. Sites are fairly wide so there is some privacy. Not all sites have tree coverage, something to keep in mind if you prefer shade.

Great scenery

Great staff and RV park.  Excellent bathrooms, showers, and laundry.  I lucked into this RV park as someone left early.  Seems to be always booked and hard to get into.  The back in sites to the south of the office are large and back right up to the river.  I would stay here again!

On the river.

I am very pleased to say that this campground staff is the nicest. Tree fell on my site and the staff were on the spot clearing it. Beautiful area. Lots to see

Great for RVs and Trailers

It is 20-30 minutes outside the north entrance. Communal campfire every night. It’s right in the river with benches to sit and enjoy the water.

Beautiful & Convenient

It sits right off the highway, but is quiet. We parked on one of the river sites, and the river was about 15 feet from our back door, absolutely beautiful! The hosts are very friendly, the gift shop has a lot of quality items. The bathhouse is very nice! If you're on your way to Yellowstone National Park, it is very convenient.

Nice, very Nice

We were heading to Yellowstone from Glacier and had been driving for hours. We called and the park and they gave us the last site open for that day and what a site/view! We were the site closest to the Yellowstone River with views of the mountains and river. The restroom facilities were immaculate. There was some road noise but not too bad. The owners and workers were very pleasant. They also have a communal fire ring. Sites are pull through.

Worth it for the view

Right on the edge of the Yellowstone River, about 90 minutes north of Yellowstone NP. This is an RV Park, so no tents are allowed. The view of the river and the mountains is fantastic. And, it’s close to dining in Livingston if you want that. Laundry facilities and a larger than average store. Pet friendly. The sites are small. But, I would definitely go back.

Beautiful spot on the Yellowstone River

This is a wonderful RV Park, on the banks of the Yellowstone River, just north of Yellowstone NP. Great location with easy drive south to Yellowstone or dining in Livingston a few miles north. Clean modern shower & bath, plus laundry and store.
