Great Falls KOA
For a KOA, this is a comfortable spot. There are trees and places to walk with our dog. Clean restrooms. We booked a patio spot to enjoy the fall evening with a little more room, so splurging a bit. Spent last night a Benewah Campground in Heyburn State Park, and that was amazing, but KOA is a good choice when traveling x-country. Walmart very close, so a good opportunity to restock.

Convenient and quiet for an overnight
This is a town park that has a few camping sites that you back into. They all say trailer sites so not sure if you can have tents. It’s a first-come basis, free camping but not a lot of info or details available. There’s a very basic flushing toilet with a sink and electric outlets but no lights. It’s also very near the highway, separated by some shrubbery which is nice, but expect road noise. Very quiet little town.

Pulled in for an overnight. Few picnic table and bathrooms. Places to park or set up tent. Bugs we to the point I had to sleep in my car instead of tent.

Nice park
This is a nice park for an inner city park. It is set down off the main road. Surprisingly I didn’t hear much road noise and I am awake a lot at night. It does have trees but most won’t help against the sun but I think it does help against road noise. The bath house has clean toilet areas and clean showers. It is a good place to stop when you need electricity for air conditioning.

We stayed at the gravel lot. It does look like there may be other options. Vault toilet. Two picnic tables mosquito not do bad. A few flys.

Nice free spot with lots of bugs
Free according to the signage at the front. No campfires allowed and ok service with Verizon. Big duck hunting property so be aware of that in duck season. The many many mosquitoes here really want to be inside your car but its great if you love birds.

Close together but green
It is definitely small spaces however they're well defined and green areas everywhere. Several choices of bathrooms and showers that all seem nice and clean. Lots of children because there are a lot of children activities here. Pancake breakfast too :-) cookies in the afternoon.

Fine for a night
Checked out both freezer lake spots, needing a quick nights sleep. There are vault bathrooms at both that are also maintained. These are both basically large gravel parking lots with a few picnic tables and no shade.
Pros are that it was quite empty and close to the highway.
It was nice hearing wolves howling in the night!
