Five sites line the Missouri River at this Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks access site outside Craig, each with a metal fire ring and picnic table. Sites are spaced well apart. There is no water or trash service on-site, so campers need to pack in supplies and pack out waste. Weekends draw crowds, so arriving midweek improves the odds of securing a spot. Non-residents pay $18 per night. Bring your own toilet paper, as the single vault toilet is not reliably stocked. Paddlers and anglers will find a gravel boat launch at the parking area, with additional river access at site one. Those planning a float trip can browse campgrounds near Wolf Creek to round out a multi-night itinerary along this stretch of the Missouri.
