Roaring River State Park is unique on so many levels! With a deep, narrow valley surrounded by a striking and rugged landscape, Roaring River State Park is one of Missouri’s most popular state parks. Located in the southwest Ozark hills, Roaring River State Park is one of three state parks stocked with rainbow trout and is a great place for camping near Bentonville. Eager anglers flock to the park year round to try and catch their lunker trout. The scenic setting makes everything more fun. The park has seven hiking trails, a swimming pool for cooling off, picnic tables for a leisurely lunch and a nature center to learn about the park. For those wanting to spend the night, the park has many options. The campground has basic, electric and sewer/electric/water site. Rustic cabins are scattered throughout the park or guests may choose a modern room at the Emory Melton Inn and Conference Center. The center also boasts a full-service restaurant.

Right in town but actually quite. Bathrooms very clean nice laundry area and cheap.
Stayed 3 nights. Weekend had a few family gatherings near us, but the weekdays we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Campground is well maintained with beautiful views of Table Rock Lake. We were in upper section (electric only) - the lower section next to the marina has full hookups. There are a few pull-through, but most sites are back-in and long enough for al most any rig.
This location has been a great place. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and the area is peaceful. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a campground in Branson Mo. It is also a short and scenic drive to what ever suites you in Branson.
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the week after Labor Day and was mostly vacant, making for a quiet stay. Love the amenities for kids! The only reason I give 4 stars is the dog policy— it’s very strict, and there isn’t a dog park type area to let pets off leash to play & get energy out.
Found this place on a whim through Missouri. Was looking for dispersed camping and not much popped up in the area. So campgrounds were next up.
This place already had a few good reviews, so I called them up. Immediately knew this was going to be the place. Super nice folks, clear communication, and even showed us the grounds upon arrival.
Lots of amenities for just staying a single night. Everything you need and want in a campground, but not a KOA or Yogi packed site.
Overall 5/5, cheap, friendly, abundance of things to do, and quiet (when I stayed).
P.S. Depending on which site you choose… the cost varies, but still cheap. There is lighting, power outlets, tables, fire rings and outdoor grill, along with many other fun child-friendly things.
Super friendly people, very accommodating. They offered to help us hookup when we arrived, so sweet, and specially since we are new to this. Gave us advice about where to eat around town. The site was nice and shady. The bath house was excellent - very nice showers and bathrooms, very clean, very private. Such a family feel. Very good value for the price! Thanks for an excellent stay. Would stay here again if we ever return to the area.
This campground promotes child molestation. Eric Wyatt the park supervisor is a tier 3 child predator.
Campground was nice and maintained. Showers in campground 2 were dirty.
Stayed here for 4 nights during a visit with family. Park is clean. Staff is friendly. They make fresh pizza at the convenience store/office and will deliver it to your site. We were there 3 weeks before the pool opens so we didn't get a chance to see that. Nice park that's close to 1-44, James River Parkway, and unfortunately a railroad crossing. So you will hear a train horn on occasion, but no highway noise. We will come back here and stay again.
Our friends from CA have bragged on this camp ground for years....so here we come!
Favorite campground on our road-trip so far. Shaded spots, clean bathhouses. Can rent boats. Nearby attractions.
Everything you would expect from KOA Holiday. Bathrooms appear to have been updated. Wifi test, 34 down, 25 up. Verizon spotty but ATT seemed good. Gravel site. Concrete pad with metal dinette. Firepit. Clean. Friendly staff. Premium sites had porch swings, grills and umbrellas
Our little family of 2 humans & 3 dogs had THE BEST first stop in our adventures. We are terrible planners but The B Berry Farm welcomed us late at night and last minute. The whole B Berry family are great people. They helped us get in and told us all the fun & exciting things around the farm to do. The clubhouse is so convenient for any camper with supplies, games, lawn chairs to watch the sunset! Even if you aren’t going to see the lakes around (we didn’t) there is plenty to entertain you right on the Farm. There is an abundance of wildflowers, walking trails, chill zones, a water park, outdoor solar shower, bugs, a friggin Berry field. WITH PINK BLUEBERRIES!!!! They taste like cotton candy — you have to ask about them. There’s a store of goodies that we bought from on the website; we got some Mint Tea, chapsticks, massage oil, soaps, and deodorant because we’re total hippies and won’t wear store bought —- all smell AMAZING and taste AMAZING and feel AMAZING. Highly recommend. The weather was beautiful the whole time; bees buzzing, grasshoppers that look like a hybrid of butterfly’s, butterflies that fly in wolf packs. We left full hearted, happy bellied, and so thankful for The B Berry Family.
We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway trip and it was fantastic. All the sites are gravel so when we had a few rain showers it did not cause a muddy mess for our campfire evenings. The owner was super nice and very communicative ensuring we had everything we needed. He delivered firewood we purchased to our tent while we were at the park and, he even stayed up past midnight to see us in as we drove up from Oklahoma. New camp store, nice clean bathrooms, new showers, and a quiet stay with amazing star gazing. Lastly the campground is 5 minutes to the river to fish. Would highly recommend.
Amazing summer night stay. Sunset, frogs chirping, a field of fireflies and relaxing by a campfire. This brand new campground is amazing.
Easy check-in as you pay everything up front when you make your reservation. Staff was friendly and helpful. They called us the morning of check in to let us know our site was ready. Roads were very big rig friendly. Our site was very long(about 100”’ long). A very quiet campground. Lots to do in the area. Although quiet hours are until 8 AM, garbage truck comes at 6 AM and is not quiet.
Teresa was very attentive, guided us to our drive in site, gave us several options, explained the features, gave us a map, and was cordial. Also the price is way below average. Beautiful view of the stars since it’s out of town. Lots of wildlife and birds.
It was early in the season, but still, it would have been nice if the grass in the site had been mowed. Toilet and shower are more rustic than I am used to. But they have showers!
The campground is clean and the staff was very helpful with any questions. Shower rooms were spotless and nice. Had a great time at Branson and this rv park made it even better. Would recommend this campground to everybody and we will stay hear again the next time we go to Branson.
We were passing through and just finished a 12 hour drive when we arrived. The owners are friendly and really want make the camp a nice experience. We stretched our legs on the trails and got a very peaceful nights rest.
We’ve been staying here for the last five years with no issues. Has a pedestrian gate that dumps out on the strip right between titanic and a steakhouse right across from Hollywood wax museum and mini golf course. We stay on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends and this park is close to everything, but still is easy to get in and out of town. Staff helps pull/back in and helps pull out if needed. Also has a little convenience store for RV things that may have broke or been forgotten. Super friendly people. Can’t say enough nice things about this park. Very quiet too even though it’s almost right on the strip.
Nice grounds with friendly staff. Spacious places. Unfortunately close to railroad crossing. Luckily few trains are passing.
Everything is great. Clean. But proximity to train crossing ruins the visit.
My wife and our children stayed here in the summer while we traveled for work and we were extremely pleased with both the grounds and the staff. They have great amenities and clean facilities as well as washers and dryers. They were so accommodating. The only drawback is a train close by. They have a small gated dog park and I huge open field. They have a seasonal swimming pool, kids playground, game room and few more things to keep the kids busy. Good WiFi and a shop that sells/makes/delivers pizza to your campsite. We will be visiting again in the future definitely.
You have your choice of accommodations here: RV sites, cabins, and, of course, tree houses! Since it was the beginning of March and we didn’t know what the weather would be like, we chose a treehouse (plus I’ve always wanted to stay in a tree house!)
It’s difficult to properly review this place outside of our specific experience since it was off-season and much of the facility was not yet operational. I imagine that in the summer, this place would be hopping with many families. As far as activities offered, there is a pool (in season), a nice and creative playground and a pirate ship, a basketball net, tether ball, and two hiking trails. You should wear hiking boots if setting off on these trails (while not long, they are hilly). They were also not always clearly marked, and I went off trail once or twice. Each of the treehouses has different features – some are good for couples while some are designed for families. We stayed in the Belle Arbes (beautiful trees) treehouse, mainly because it had a fireplace, and we didn’t know how cold it would be (we woke to snow our second morning!). It also has a deck, fire pit, swinging bridge leading to another smaller deck, outdoor shower, and a small fully stocked kitchenette. It is a bit of a splurge to stay in the treehouses, but it was a nice change of pace from camping for us.
The office is open from 8 am-5 pm and we received a call around 3:30 on the day of our arrival letting us know the office would be closed when we arrived but giving us instructions on how to check in after hours.
Branson Treehouse Adventures is close enough to the hubbub of Branson but even though it is located on a busy road, once you enter, it is quiet and peaceful (at least in the off-season!). We enjoyed our stay here, especially in the quiet off-season.
The store was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful, grounds were beautiful and sites great. Cabins looked awesome too! Would absolutely stay again
The lots are all privately owned and some owners offer their sites for rent. All streets are paved as are the lots. FHU on all sites, pool, hot tub, boat dock. Gated community with guards.
We had a family reunion here and rented out some cabins. It was a great time. Fishing is great. Listening to the river while falling asleep is also hard to beat.
